The premise of this story almost kept me from reading it, but I have loved your other stories and decided to read it. I think the moment that really sticks with me is when Rick explains why he offered the bounty instead of just hiring a hit. The moment with the agent and the envelopes was the biggest surprise. Thanks for writing an ending that points to karmic balance.

What an amazing final chapter and total story. Even though there was some dark story line it was absolutely fascinating. Even though I should have waited until much later tomorrow to read the final chapter it just pulled me in a anyway. I'll probably re-read the final chapter again to make sure I didn't miss anything. I couldn't imagine how this would work out with Rick and Kate together but with your last line my belief is Caskett is truly complete once again. Thank you so much for your story. Enjoy your time with your child. I'm not sure how many of your other stories I have read but when I can I will be looking into that.

I loved this ending, I liked that they wrote the next Heat book together and that he gave Kate, from what I can interpret, a substantial more money to Kate then Espo and Ryan.

I didn't like Gates at the beginning of the show and I hated her even more in this story.

This was definitely outside the box and thought provoking. A different way to get Caskett together. that's for sure. Rather melancholy at times, as one would expect with family losses, but well written. The twists and turns were...interesting. Overall, a good job in handling Caskett. Absolutely love the part you added. It gives the reader a bit of closure while still only hinting at a possible future romantic relationship between C/B. That's great. Love that Fitz made his off-camera return, love that guy. I still say you could do an entire fic with him at the center and it'd be awesome.
