THAT WAS LEGITNESS! I was still a little in the dark about a/b/o so I went ahead and read kittenofdoomage's post and I was good to go. And I know you were worried about posting this, but trust me, this is gold. I don't know much about the dynamics (this is in fact the first a/b/o I've read) but I know Beth and Daryl, and this? This is them. The smut was hot, but the build up and the aftermath sold me, the way he starts slowly waking up to her, and the entire paragraph when he asked how she knew he was an Alpha and she gave him the answer she did had me screeching out loud. Fantastic job!
