I enjoy many aspects of this story but am wary of the timeline of having completed only 9 chapters in three years. I hope that you are well and able to continue in your endeavors as you have a good story in the works and I am eager to sample your other offerings. MK-One

You seem to have Dumby being some kind of warrior or something I haven't seen that out of him ever. I mean we know of him being in like 3 fight ever, obviously he's been in more but still. He hasn't killed anyone that I can remember other than possibly his sister.

Dumbledore has come clean about all his faults & secrets & is willing to accept valid criticism here. There’s no neeed to be insulting & disrespectful to him, If Harry’s willing to criticize him then he should also be willing to accept criticism himself as well.

Always struggle with stories that try to make it a gritty and real 'war', only becuase Harry normally acts annoyingly and without imagination.
Lack of any realy emotional connection with the two ladies is limiting the progression of the story/ connection a reader can feel with the main character. I get it, slow burn, but 'I want to win' but with no acknowledged reason doesnt make it interesting.
Final point, hard to listen to rants by dumbledore about 'war', I mean, his best friend/ lover became a Nazi, kill him? Nope prison, let a baby be raised abused so will be ready to die, sure!, know full well who the death eater are after the first war and as the strongest wizard on earth, slowly assassinate them with out getting caught, kill off the bad werewolf etc? Nope, their fine to lead their lives after murdering/raping in a war.

It's rich of Dumbledore to call Harry and immature and naive child. First, he is a child and one that Dumbledore only recently started to train. That's on him. Second, Dumbledore should have salted the Earth the dark stood on after Voldemort was defeated. The imperious defense left all his most powerful supporters in place and the country exactly where he left it. Dumbledore could have worked for years in the aftermath to limit their power and change the country. Voldemortt could have returned to a country so different from the one he left that he'd need to start all over again. Instead he picked up right where he left, like the last 13 years hadn't happened. With more time Harry could have been an adult before the battle with the Dark Lord.

Albus better be careful or his words more than his actions are going to push Harry in the wrong direction.
