Well well well, this was quite good! Truly, the fact that it's one of so unfortunately few Warframe stories isn't even the crutch so many get away with, this was a genuinely enjoyable read and I eagerly await more! Seeing Izuku actually use Transference and bond with Umbra will be a glorious thing indeed. Regardless, good luck!

Ah, so that's how you implemented the obligatory "protagonist doesn't win the big competition" despite how blatantly superior he is to all of his "competitorscheating. Because there was no realistic way for him to lose besides being a colossal and utterly out of character idiot, you had a literal god snatch him away and make him lose through no fault of his own or contrived bullshit of his opponents. I honestly can't tell if that's better or worse than just him being an idiot.

All Izuku had to do to easily win this thing was vanish into the Void and wait it out; this match was essentially spoon feeding victory to him. There was no reason to even bother going on the offensive. Unrelatedly, I'm immensely disappointed he never fired a giant blast of Void energy after saying "None can stand against Chaos forever!" or perhaps "None can stand against the Void forever!" or "None can resist oblivion eternal!" to be more directly related to his power. Then again, such declarations of awesome might are best saved for people that matter.

Ochako does not deserve MVP, she didn't do anything. Just because here partner was the least valuable player, doesn't make basic competence and getting obliterated in seconds suddenly overshadow forming and executing a decent strategy as well as engaging and soundly defeating a dangerous opponent. Just because everyone else has apparently started throwing out the "unexpected MVP" doesn't mean shoehorning it in with such bullshit works. She did nothing, just because her partner did less than nothing that doesn't make doing nothing suddenly valuable. While this is a meaningless title with no future bearing on the plot, Izuku was absolutely the MVP for not only formulating a decent plan but also defeating the most dangerous enemy single handedly. There's no debating that. Also, I like that Mr. Wall Esquire startled Izuku just to teach him a power he hadn't thought about and make him look like badass to fuck with everyone but Bakugo especially; my suggestion to work with him is becoming less and less of a joke.

Ya know, I think he should give the unknowable abomination from beyond the furthest stars a chance, he seems like a nice enough guy and he has a swell sense of humour. Honestly, other than the occasional spike of disorientation seemingly done out of boredom, most of Deku's "Indifference" problems seem to come from his own anger and abject refusal to so much as humour the mostly harmless words of his new companion. He obviously isn't going away and equally obviously Deku can't just ignore him, so he may as well humour him and see if they can make this relationship less painful. If The Man In The Wall really wanted to hurt him, he could do a lot worse than mildly snide quips, violent suggestions, and the occasional head rush, so it's not impossible a workable relationship could be formed. Besides, if merely listening to him is so dangerous, that only means your resolve and ideals are far weaker than you'd like to think.

The only reason I came to this fucking story was to see a Warframe actually be used. It has been more than a year and only 18 chapters. And i still have not read what I cam for. Only this chapter has brought some interest. In very glad I waited and skipped a bunch of continue this GOOD pace, becore this it was far too slow

Interesting crossover between two different mediums, at first I had no idea what you could even do, but it turned out super creative. I hope eventually Deku will get all the skills in his operator tree, as well as all the way bound stuff. Im also guessing a partnership with Umbra in the future, also idk how they will qork through the legal stuff.
