Oh! I love Seph & Aeris' reunion! So sweet! (_) Couldn't help, but giggle when Vincent put Seph's arm around Aeris. Nice touch! (_) You really showed how much Seph means to Aeris in this chap and I loved the words at the end. (_)

Oh! I love Sephiroth and Vincent's exchange. Very realistic of them. Glad that now Sephiroth knows Vincent tried to save him from Hojo. Maybe that will caused Sephiroth to trust Vincent more? Still will be hard naturally, but as long as it's a little more then that's a step in the right direction, especially for Sephiroth. (_)

So, I decided to review the entire story here.

Admittingly I have not re-read the story since you updated it. One day, I probably will though.

Irony of Fate is probably my most favorite fan-fic of all time. When I first encontered it, many many years ago I was quite an avid fanfic reader. As the years passed however, I started to lose intrest in the genre, but I always returned to Irony of Fate. Checking in every odd year or so to see if an update had been made .

I'd say it has been vital to my own writing, like a trusted friend that I could look to for comfort and influence. Seeing a work in the making probably helped myself to improve my own story.

I find the characters in Irony of Fate very believable and truly a plausible outcome of the canon. Even though the story deviates from the actual game all the important elements are there that allows the reader to recognize themselves. You follow their travels like in the game but with a twist. You have managed to capture their essence very well and the entire story breathes Final Fantasy VII.

Extremely good job and an absolute thrill that you are back to writing again. I had all but given up on fanfics until I saw that you had returned. But now, I crave more Seph/Aerith stories!

Yuffie's thoughts one everyone was good and quite accurate. The little ninja is smarter than she looks.(_)

Gosh, this is such a blast from the past for me. I can't even remember when I first read this. All I know is that I loved it then and I still love it now.

I heard about this story some time ago and its reputation as the legendary, breakthrough Aeriseph fanfic. I definitely had to read it! Thankfully, I was able to read the entire story on a web archive of your AOL account. (I found the link to this in one of the reviews of "Irony of Fate" as posted on your behalf by Matsuo Nakata.) I must say this is excellent work! I understand why a lot of fanfic authors cite it as their inspiration for writing Aeriseph stories.

Poor Vincent! Sure maybe he could of done something but Hojo and Lucrecia are way more to blame than he. Lucrecia did treat him bad as well. I like Vincent and Yuffie's relationship. And she said good words. Glad she said all she did to him.(_)
