That chapter had me on my toes! It's going to be interesting to see how Cloud and Tifa handle (what I'm assuming) Sephiroth's conversion, as I've just remembered that they both lost their only living parent to this man. :/ If someone took my beloved mother from me, I don't think I could ever, ever come to forgive them.

Well, I certainly won't miss Cait. Reeve is great, but that thing? Nah.

Great first chapter. Glad to see that Sephiroth has somewhat of a conscious. It reminds the reader that he is a victim as well, I think. The real villain when you get to the gut of it all is Jenova (and arguably ShinRa through Hojo).

If all Turks are as a shot as Vincent, I bet it was tseng who hit the Tiny Bronco's engine!

In the game, Nanaki learns the truth about his father shortly before you leave cosmo canyon. he even says at least once that he 'is the son of the great warrior Seto'.
he knew the truth before ever reaching Nibelhiem regardless.

Even only a robo-cat Cait Sith would be pretty lame. the cait sith in Dirge of Cerberus could NOT fight at all. he had to sneak around. and he doesn't have even one fighting scene in Advent Children. everyone else fights at least once.
personally, I thought he was a lame, weak charecter. I ever only use him anymore if its obligatory. otherwise I have Vincent and either Tifa or Cid.
