| Brother Bludgeon chapter 1 . 7/29/2018 I feel like there would have to be a reason why Harry’s magic connected to Hermione’s. Destiny or Soulmates have been done to death. What if Hermione was another instinctive Animagus? Maybe the polyjuice potion didn’t have the wrong hair, but it forced a partial transformation because she drank it at the point of greatest potency, right after it was brewed. And maybe, if Harry and Ron hadn’t found her, the troll attack would have triggered her first change, while she was still young enough for accidental magic. Food for thought.
