  Amelia Who chapter 18 . 3/6 I will never understand how people read about this character: “A broad, square-jawed witch with very short gray hair sat on Fudge’s left; she wore a monocle and looked forbidding.” and decided that she’s a hottie in her thirties who is close to Sirius in age. TBH this was better when you stuck with the Sirius and Harry bonding and didn’t try to work in the weird, nonsensical Sirius-Amelia Bones stuff that so many authors do. |
| Anonopotamous chapter 18 . 2/27 How could Amelia have only been 18 in 1981? In 1995, she was gray-haired and the Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. She should be a good deal older than Sirius, not several years younger than him. |

No matter how big a stink she might have raised when Crouch was in charge, it likely wouldn't have mattered. Crouch was getting the job done; that seems to be all the ministry cares about. Appearances are all. BTW, the story still holds up. Caught my interest again and now I'm anxiously awaiting the next update. Thanks for sharing. |

| Reader chapter 18 . 1/20 Why do so many authors write Amelia Bones as if she's this hottie who is close to Sirius in age? Amelia Bones was described in OOTP and HBP as gray-haired and middle-aged. She was the Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. There is absolutely no way that she's as young as you're writing her to be. |
