First things first he was on the most wanted lost because his mom went missing amd Gabe turned him in for it shes back and nobody ever reported Gabe missing so thats wouldnt matter because of the mist second when they came bursting through the door all hell would have broken loose with Percy automatically assuming they were monsters attacking him and once he realized his sword wasn’t killing them he would dip out of there because he doesnt want to kill any mortals and refuses to be held captive by them for any reason so this whole thing is just a non starter either write Percy how he is or tell people hes not gonns act like cannon percy its as simple as saying Percy is going to be OOC in this story disappointing and dropping this rn because this makes no sense with hiw their world works

The reveal was pretty obvious tbh, im just praying we dont get a 4/4 of Percy apologizing to other people for them betraying him, again. Atleast we dont have Percy all hung up on Carol hopefully

Jesus he is such a freaking doormat lmao. How do you go from writing a realistic Percy to this in the matter of 3 chapters? Constantly apologizing to all of his friends who keeps fucking him over and betraying him? Like what are you trying to show us? That hes the bigger man or something? You can understand someone elses motivations for doing something without grovelling and giving apologies everytime they fuck you over. Hes just pathetic at this point.

So after the gods abandoned him again, he just ups and accepts everything they tell him to do? Then feels shame that poseidon felt relief, instead of being angry that he didnt trust him? Whats the whole point of the chapters talking about how he was done being the gods errand boy and then he just goes right back to it? Also the whole poseidon telling him about carol seems like another stupid cop out. Now, instead of showing how Percy is gonna handle Carol leaving, we get a muted response of "oh well, she'll be back". Seems like Poseidon saying that was for the readers, not Percy. Pretty dissapointed with this chapter, you basically just retconned all the work you were putting in to make Percy his own man in half a chapter.
