I take it this Odyssey is from an alternate universe from the main/canon timeline, because as of S10E20 Unending, where Odyssey gets upgraded by the Asgard ... the Odyssey did, in fact, have one of the three nearly full ZPMs that the SGC had access to, with the other two being on Earth to power the Ancient Outpost in Antarctica, and in Pegasus on Atlantis. The ZPMs were one of the things the Asuran Replicators left behind in Atlantis when their occupation forced was killed after killing the Lanteans from the Tria who had evicted the Atlantis Expedition from Atlantis in the middle of Atlantis Season 3 - it was a two-parter and I think one of them was named "The Return" ... can't remember the episode numbers offhand. Point is, one of the things the Replicators did while they were in control of Atlantis was to make repairs and fully power the city with three new ZPMs.

Also ... the Asgard Core had its own independent power source that wasn't their Neutrino-Ion Generator technology but presumably derived from the Asgard's research into ZPMs and the related data they could find in the Ancient databases. Which is what the Ori warships were supposedly tracking. So, probably the Asgard version of the experimental subspace capacitor from the Dimensional Daedalus in Atlantis Season 5.

Bah, it's certainly an interesting premise, but unfortunately, I'm pretty sure this story is functionally dead. If nothing else, at the current rate of updates, by the next time this updates, I'll need to reread the entire story from the beginning to know what's going on again.

This is amusing and all but it will not be complete until we get to watch as the various Worm characters have their worldview broken like a pinata, delivering much needed schadenfreude cookies.

your story seems interesting and then I see a xmas special for a story that is basically updated once a year. all I can think is F&*k u.

I'm sort of wondering the first time Taylor is going to accidentally kill a bully when they go for her and she puts a full barrage of Asgard Beam and railgun bursts into them. The authorities wouldn't even find *molecular* remains.

It LIVES! AAAHH! *happy dance* The Tau’ri save the galaxy indeed. Fun thought, with Behemoth using stored kinetic energy, would shipgirl Taylor be able to tractor beam him into submission? Maybe fly him to the outer edges of galaxy with her hyperdrive, then just leave him there? There should be some fun ways to remove the threat of Leviathan as well. The big issues I see without Scion/Zion being in the way are the Simurgh and Eidolon. If Taylor starts dealing with the Endbringers in permanent fashion, then Captain Rage-boner may start accidentally making more “Worthy opponents”. Eidolon may need to have something permanent happen to him. If he’s dropped off on another planet, then Doormaker could just bring him back to Earth.

Cauldron would know Oddesy is hostile, and Ziz would definitely stop sandbagging.
