So it seems that a helpless Stephanie is running away. Yet as we read further we find out that she was a part girl, she's a liar, she deceived Hector and Ranger's company by creating a backdoor to their systems so she's not entirely honest! The Stephanie character you start with and end with is not the same. She's deceitful.
