I love your story so much! You don’t completely change Anduin and sylavanas , and that’s very rare so congratulations to that! Keep up the good work!
Axccel chapter 1 . 2/13/2019
Well, considering the Forsaken were planning to destroy all life and hate life...can we really say that Arthas's father was wrong to not accept the Forsaken? Besides, it looked like a Scourge trap no matter how you look at it. And the not so little fact that the Forsaken had rampaged through the Lordaeron lines, killed a bunch of their soldiers, and taken a fort. Oh, and allied with demons, that too.

The devil is in the details, lol.
Axccel chapter 13 . 2/13/2019
Tyrande is not wrong, though. She's right that most orcs are just bloodthirsty beasts. Saurfang and Thrall are rare exceptions, not the rule.
Axccel chapter 14 . 2/13/2019
Come to think of it, a marriage between a human and a high-elf ruler type figures would be very beneficial considering the relationship between humans and high elves by this point in the lore. It would cement their unification as a people.
Axccel chapter 11 . 2/13/2019
I am entirely in favor of an elf harem. Oh, and maybe a draenei or two, lol.

Maybe if they play it as Sylvanas's sanity being returned to her and "can you really hold her responsible for behaving how the Lich King programmed her to" they can quickly soothe Tyrande's anger and possibly the Night Elves as a whole. Uh, and the High Elves, who probably also hate her seeing as after the fall of Quel'Thelas the High Elves have grown to be extremely devoted to the Alliance. Their arrogance and pride finally completely stripped from them and leaving them as a people truly grateful for the Alliance's friendship, generosity, compassion, and forgiveness and focused on living up to that friendship.

Amusingly, the High Elves of Azeroth, unlike most other fantasies, are very loyal to humanity to the point that the Silver Covenant clearly hate the Blood Elves as traitors to the Alliance. Sure, they say "Alliance" but at the time of their exodus to the Alliance, the Alliance was pretty much synonymous with "human" and the places the High Elf refugees settled is very much human. The High Elves even seem to have abandoned trying to keep their species going seeing how so many of them have joined the Alliance military or ranger lodges and I get the distinct feeling that they aren't trying to keep up their numbers thanks to a deep feeling of guilt towards ever having accepted leaving the Alliance and a deep gratitude to the Alliance driving them to pursue military careers instead of building new families.

It's pretty funny how the High Elves went from holier-than-thou extreme to the point it wouldn't be weird to see a High Elf marry a human (though very rare simply due to their small species population) and the High Elf NPCs and in the lore don't come off as any different than the humans they work and live with. Unlike the Blood Elves who still very clearly have a stick all the way up their asses.

Tyrande once strove for peace. Pfft, riiiight. She also told Malfurion back when the Scourge was invading that the "outsiders" deserved whatever the Scourge did to them because the orcs killed Cenarius. The outsiders in question were human and she had already witnessed them fighting the orcs and knew they were mortal enemies of the people who killed Cenarius.

Tyrande is like France; warlike, aggressive, and threatening, but incompetent at actually putting her money where her mouth is.

The only time she seeks "peace" is when the Alliance fights the Horde and that is solely because she doesn't want her people to fight other peoples' battles. Which is also why she sends little military aid. Enough that it is genuine assistance and not token forces, but a small minority of the Kaldorei's true strength. Unlike every other Alliance species, especially humanity. Then, their army got stomped in Ashenvale by the combined Horde army because, thanks to Tyrande, there wasn't a unified Alliance military presence there. Then, the Horde burned Teldrassil and killed most of the Night Elves in existence and nearly all of their military strength died with the tree. Now, the Night Elves have put their renaming forces into the war effort yet the survivors are so few that the numbers are still only around that small amount they used to send to help the Alliance in the first place.

So, because Tyrande refused to help as much as she could have when her people were not the ones being ravaged, she is now unable to when her people need it.

Tyrande in this chapter talks shit about how much the Kaldorei have suffered with the burning. She completely fails to remember that the man she is speaking to is one of the humans of the last human kingdom (or one of two, though Kul Tiras is so weakened it might as well be more of a collective than a kingdom) which itself has been destroyed several times in the last thirty years and every other human kingdom has been wiped out in various flavors of apocalypse. HUMANITY KNOWS SUFFERING FULL-WELL THANK YOU VERY MUCH, TYRANDE. Lets not forget that those kingdoms (except Gilneas and Alterac, but fuck Alterac) died nobly loyal to the Alliance and entire armies have died defending humanity's friends outside the kingdoms from the Horde and other threats. What have the Night Elves done? Besides ruin the planet. Oh, yeah. They've squatted in their tree-house paradise (which they usually allow no outsiders into). They've been shitty allies and not even tried to be friends with the rest of the Alliance. Now, they're also largely ungrateful squatters who honestly believe the world revolves around them (to be fair, it once pretty much did).

The thing is that the High Elves realized that the destruction of Quel'Thelas was due to their own decisions to have a poor relationship with the Alliance later leave the Alliance born of their own arrogance. This caused a heel-face turn in their personalities and approach towards the Alliance species, especially humanity (whom they had been cold and uncaring towards). The Night Elves have yet to realize this about their own treatment of the Alliance and how that is what bit them in the ass so badly just like it did the High Elves and in both cases it was due to being unwilling to honestly support the Alliance and unwillingness to cough up reasonable military assistance for the Alliance which resulted in them being alone and trapped when they needed help the most. Just like the High Elves.

tamerlan110 chapter 13 . 12/19/2018
So Warchief return... For good, she should better build her appearance. Such as accented on the fact that because of the circumstances, she will lead the Forsaken only until the completion of urgent matters. After that, he will hand over this post to a worthy successor and concentrate on the duties of Warchief of Horde. So, it would be nice to say that her condition brought her nothing but new problems and even greater responsibility, not forgetting to add that she would never go to that kind voluntarily. So, she would be able to manipulate much more of her former subordinates, and thereby reduce the number of traitors. But still she is not a politician but a military. From here and similar mistakes.
