If Ruby or anyone else finds out that Shirou has been manipulating most of these events, I wonder if Ruby would use her command seal to force him to kill Salem? I can see points where Shirou could be selective in how he "obeys" Ruby's words like "stopping the Grimm" could be him telling Salem to progress a different way around him or something similar while she presumes he'll actually fight.
This puppet master Shirou concept is starting to feel a bit tiresome to me I think because of his callous disregard of emotional trauma to everyone while justifying the lack of death. It feels very incomprehensible after a certain point.
I can appreciate what you're doing as a writer for the story but the character is getting harder and harder to follow.

See that Ruby, this is what happens when you try to make changes but not think about the consequences of those changes. Because of that, things won't go exactly as you expect it to be.
