how is percy from the future but even this far into the story still so dumb and gullible? hes arguably more gullible than in the original story always falling for the same tricks over and over.

youd think after being tricked so many times he would learn to not trust his opponents but he doesnt learn. he has moments of brightness but then is incredibly stupid especially for being someone from the future who fought in multiple wars
