So /that's/ where they are in the timeline! Ooooh, this is going to be GOOD. Sasuke, Kabuto, and Oro's reactions to Tori telling them their fates is hilarious. Sasuke isn't quite on Kabuto's level of poker face, but Kabuto gets called out anyways. Oro just laughs. All perfectly in character, I love it. And the spoon, oh god. xD I've done the exact same thing with pens, pencils, and my phone. I love how you're balancing the plot and the humour, it's great xD

I am so, so looking forward to the rest of Tori's time in Oto! I could honestly read 20,000 words just of Tori discussing technology/science differences and "seeing fates" with Kabuto, Sasuke, and Oro, and I'd be fascinated and perfectly satisfied. But a plot is probably a good thing too, haha.

Holy crap, this is going to be good. I am very much looking forwards to this fic. Tori has the perfect balance as an OC of rationality, confusion, and barely-together-brink-of-hysteria-improv, which is fitting given the situation she's woken up in. A lot of other OCs seem to adjust /too/ quickly. This type of OC is rarer, I think, but I like it more than the ones where the OC are just born/reincarnated, because those tend to follow the OC's development throughout the Academy/Wave Arc/Chunin Exams etc., which gets repetitive. Also, I freaking love the Akatsuki and I am PUMPED. Your prose is great, too! One typo: "yelling at *a man", I believe?

Ah, and best part is that this story has already got a plot rolling, which is fantastic! I love that the OC is a biology major - the sciencey nerdiness strongly appeals to me, haha. And damn, hope she meets up with Orochimaru later on. He's still in the Akatsuki right now, right? And oh man. The fact that Tori knows all of these characters from the manga is great. "Sees fates" indeed. I can't wait to see how you inevitably play off 100% crack situations with 110% dead-pan seriousness.

This is such a unique idea! I love the quietly surreal atmosphere. It’s perfect for the SI OC genre, but it’s not utilized as frequently as it honestly could be. The characterization you use is great as well. The sense that the character is barely holding on in the face of shock and despair is excellently done. Great imagery as well! Looking forward to where you take us. Thanks for writing!
