Welcome back, good chapter on your return. The incident with Damian is short but ok, love to see the how the battle though. Keep up the great work.

Do what you wanna do, but I think you could probably skip the reviews section in the beginning of the chapter. Otherwise, I think in general the story just needs an editing pass over at some point, there are a lot of little mistakes like using the wrong tense of a word. But besides that, I do really enjoy reading this even though this Ash is completely OP lol. I actually think you did a good job with the battle against A.J even though it appears you won't allow Ash to lose a battle until he reaches the Indigo Plateau. There was a feeling of suspense when it seemed like Ash was gonna lose and it was nice. Welcome back, thanks for the update, and I'll be here for the next one

I'm really intrigued so far with Ash's team. It's very well-rounded and each of his pokemon fills a needed role. I am curious how you're going to fill the rest of his team. Are you planning on stopping at 6 pokemon or going to 12?
Either way, this is a great story to read and I'm looking forward to Lt. Surge's battle!

Nice chapter.
As I reread this, I noticed this chapter has more and better dialogue, and feels less clunky. So good job improving.
I also noticed that the sensational sisters mentioned possibly sending abzu to prof. elm had ash not gotten it. So, given this, and abzu's tendency to dance, I'm gonna headcanon this totodile as the same one as in canon after elm released it into the wild after no trainer got him or something.
Will ash eventually make use of the ancing to spam dragon dance? And now that he knows ice fang, it'ss likely be easier to unlock his egg move ice punch.
Maybe even learn to use aqua jet to move around, especially to dodge mid air.
Given how Damien was like at 10 in the anime, it's no surprise he's turning into a future sex offender at age 13. And how is he a D rank so soon with weak, untrained pokemon?
I think 3rd evolutions should be harder to achieve overall, so maybe wait for a year for the gang to start getting their final forms.
If ash's 13 now, he'll be 15 by the league, so he may get lucky with misty and her sisters. How much did I miss before rereading this?

Will he go back home at some point before the league? 2 years on his own seems like a long time, especially in the future when he'll be able to fly back home regularly on his pidgeot.

Good story. A small I know it won't matter but according to the Pokedex Clefairy line have sharp ears so they are found in quite places.

Nice story i juste noticed you update this story after i finish your other story Journey of the King: The Will of D yesterday and i like this story.
I like Ash team.
I hope Gary and Paul will have a good relation with Ash as rival.
If you want to rewrite your other story, do as you please. It's your story. I juste hope you could make izuku and Katsuki friend or in good terme after their match.

Another great chapter, glad to see you back and hope you have better health and luck going forwards. This is still my favourite pokemon fic. It will be interesting how you handle the mewto events coming up, he is a bit of an immovable object that I don't think Ash's differences from cannon will be able to do anything in the face of him without being unrealistic. It will be interesting to see what you do. Can't wait to see where you will take this keep up the good work and good health.

Fantastic chapter, I really liked ash and leaf traveling together it was a nice change but I’m all for ash being on his own again. I will say that the pace is a little slow not unenjoyable, you have a lot of story for ash to barely have reached half way to surge. Again the story is still very interesting. I will say that while ash is training hard and improving constantly, I hope he starts to struggle more as he increases in rank, after a while this will get repetitive if ash does nothing but win and train. I expected leaf, Gary and Paul to be more of a challenge but Ash mowed through them without issue. I feel that Paul, jerk or not, should have beaten at least one of ash’s Pokemon.

Overall I really like the story and Pokémon team you have. If I may make a suggestion I think Gengar could be a great addition since you don’t have a stalling status affecting member yet. Or my personal favorite Dragonite but that’s not important. Other suggestion could be Alakazam or Gallade no one uses gallade for whatever reason everyone wants gardevoir, I think Rhyhorn would also be a good addition for a physical tank.
