A good chapter. Well written and it was good to see the relationship between Ash and Leaf. Have you settled on a pairing yet? Is there going to be one?

As for the review corner, really it's up to you. Maybe what you could do is just have it and only answer two or three of the better reviews or the ones that you feel merit more explanation of their questions.

It was a pleasant surprise to see this updated. I enjoyed this chapter.

My memory sucks so I had to start from the very beginning since I don't remember anything about the story so far, specially the pokemon names.

Make shorter chapters? From what I've seen your stories tend to have a big word count but really few chapters. This is just me wanting more chapters tho'
Also, pleaaaaaase don't put romance in this story, 75% of your stuff is harem related and IMO that can be left for much later in most stories.
In my case I read pokemon fics for the pokemon training/battles/journey so every time someone shoe-horns romance it kinda kills a story for me since idgaf about 10-11-12-13 whatever years old falling in love lol

Glad to see an update and your return to fanfiction. As for rewriting your older stories it's up to you in the end but I would take it carefully. Nothing seems to kill an authors muse more than writing something they already did and "waiting" till they catch up where they left off.

If it helps you continue those stories great, but don't' make it what kills them. Far to many authors promise a rewrite and then stop after a chapter or two. If all else just continue those stories and leave them up as a piece of history. Proof of how your writing used to be, and how it has improved. Far to many authors are embarrassed about their past works and delete them imo, a true tragedy to the art form imo.

Hey, I just reread the story in its entirety. Enjoyed it. I do have some points id like to bring up. First, I like how ash does not catch every single pokemon he sees. So many stories including the anime do that and drive me nuts. Although, it was pretty cliche that the second pokemon was a pidgeot. Thats literally the same pokemon almost every other fanfiction uses. but i liked that it was not a normal pidgeeot... if your aiming to be the strongest, and u catch a common pokmon which due to being so common, everyone is aware of its general abilities and limitations, there better be something special about that particular specimen of that species... but thats just my opinon. I also enjoy that ash in this story catches pokemon with the potential to become stronger than most. I disagree with the notion that every pokemon can be a high level battler if trained right. I also like the trainer classification and point system. However, theres a lot of things you could have done better throughout the story. for example, id imagine that in a 'realistic' pokemon world (or a more realistic one) that an aspiring trainer would try to figure out a perfect balance for their future team before starting. Meaning, how many pokemon can i realistically train without compromising any pokemons development do due to high number and divided attention. Which pokemon types should i have on the team. do I need a pokemon with speed, who can cover for a tank like pokemon. Do i need a pokemon for reconessience. do i need a pokemon that can fly. Someone who can be sneaky. Or do i want my team to be full of tanks. and then with this info, figuring out which pokemon a trainer wants for each role and effeciently traveling to their known habitats and capturing them that seems to me to be a much more realistic approach then walking on a road and catching random pokemon that have the potential to be strong. also, kind of annoying that he just happens to walk by these pokemon half the time... doesent have to go to their habitats or anything. Theres a lot more you could do, if what im saying interests the author. I would suggest reading sacrifice and subjagation by metaldragon. Its amazing. I would also look at the training scenes written by the author... if not. keep going ur doing a great job and tysm for your hard work

i think it is because of fairy type cuteness that they are deemed as non-threat by dragon type,which became their downfall,thus the fairy type effective against dragon type dilema. or,dragon type is an extremely misogynistic creature that they refuse to even scratch fairy type's skin because they don't want to hurt fairy type (just like a certain useless pink haired sakura who suddenly become super powerful only when she want to hit naruto,and naruto just let her because she is woman). i said this because the explanation about 'fairy type is a magic user which is very effective against dragon' did not make any sense,since in the legend,dragon's scale were suppose to be impervious to magic.

I think that being destroyed like that will definitely knock Gary down a few pegs... for about a week. He would likely get back to his arrogance and claim that it would be because of luck.

Is Leaf a pair option for Ash? It kinda feels like this chapter set that up a little for the future as a potential. I know this is super early in Ash's journey so there is plenty of time to change things, especially as Misty is clearly interested. But I think you have done a good job writing Leaf and Gary so far.

Is Ash going to have human travel companions? Or are you going to keep him solo?

Anyway, looking forward to more whenever you get around to it.

Duo to the soon be release of them newest Pokémon games set to be release. I’ve been looking for good Pokémon fanfictions to read and I stumbled upon yours. Let first say, this is a good and very realistic story! I’ve read many stories where ash does have more common sense which honestly is a nice thing. I love the Pokémon so far thy have been picked for him.

I look forward to seeing what other surprises you have install! the battles are well written too and I do like how your handling characters like the gym leaders and of course Leaf and Gary. The showing up of Paul was a surprise but amazing! In all I’m so glad I found this fanfiction!

I can tell wait for updates so I’ll be favouriting and following of course. With the two stories you have chosen for inspiration I’ll give them a look too.

Looking at the pattern of your other stories I would say this one is probably dead.

This was an intresting story that I only really have one real complaint about, and that is that you use Ash and not Red as the protagonist. Most of Ash's unique characteristics have been removed from this character and he dresses as Red. I figure you likely wanted to pull other characters from the anime but I would have liked to have seen part of the journey from the brash, cocky, headstrong kid with a temper and a will strong enough to attempt punching a legendary pokemon to the more controlled, driven, experienced general which is how I see your version of Ash.
