i love your story and ash's interactions with his pokemon. i hope that you continue to update this story. i can't even try and guess at the type of pokemon that he would try and capture next except perhaps that it's typing would be dark, ghost, psyhic or electric since these are noticible gaps in Ash's team. i would love to see him with a Frostlass or Deino, just to see how he would handle that sort of pokemon and how they would fit into the team

I just wanna say dragon pulse is a better egg move than dragon rush and flare blitz is relatively useless as no one uses it.

I really love fanfics when antagonist-like characters gets a humiliating beatdown. And I've read many but this is my - at the moment and currently- favorite fanfic of a beatdown genre.

Great story

Love the story, though admittedly haven't read it in a while since this chapter. I think it would interesting to have Ash lose to Surge, but not going down without a fight, and taking some of Surge's Pokémon down with him. But if you do or when you finally make Ash lose to someone... PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, DON'T MAKE THIS INTO A "ASH IS ARROGANT AND NEEDS TO BE TAUGHT A LESSON" TYPE OF THING!
Aside from the S.S. Anne/Team Rocket Hijack plot, this is one of the most overused, and quite frankly abused, concepts in these type of stories.

Ash is, especially in this story, didn't really come off as arrogant to me, overconfident fromm time to time maybe, but not arrogant. Even in popular stories like Traveler and Challenger, the times where other characters and even Ash himself said he was prideful, he either was a little bit prideful, got his hopes up, wasn't prideful at all, or in a few cases, actually was as prideful as they/he say. Despite that scene with Leaf and Zephya, Ash wasn't deflated because Leaf said lucky. He was deflated because she said that all his battles were just luck and not his own skills. Zephya did not f*cking help at all. Yeah, the battle he just had was the closet he had to losing, but he fought pretty hard, and he said it himself that Abzu was close to evolving. Besides, even without winning for their trainer, Pokémon want to win their battles and will tap into their themselves to give the final boost they need to win. Point is this scene is not what it says, or it is to me at least, and it was unpleasant to read the first time because of Leaf's and Zephya's attitude and behavior. Definitely need to do something about that, especially Zephya's diva attitude. It's her charm, but like other characteristics, it gets irritating, even more so with this trait.

All I ask is that you don't make Ash take the short end of a stick, just because he "needed to be taught a lesson" he already knew for the most part. Other than that, keep up the good work.

this most definitely comes far too late to change anything but the species of the offspring/egg comes from the mother evolutionary line. so in the case of charmander it really should have been a dratini
