I absolutely love this story, please for the love of Chaos continue it! It's freaking hilarious, and maybe have Luffy appear and get his reactions to Ace's trickery as well.

Thank you for the awesome story so far! I'm really loving it! (And I see people giving odd looks as I try to hold myself from cackling [too loudly] in public. Don't mind me!) But, hey, you made my gloomy day turn to something to look forward to! xD

Anyways, is there a chance of an alliance (behind the scenes) with Shanks? Considering that it was Teach that gave him the iconic three scars on his eye if I remember correctly (revenge is a great motivator)... It'd be a waste to not have connections (wider intel network) with the Red Hair Pirates (and it could be played for laughs when after Ace joins up with Whitebeard later). Playing the card as Roger's son could also help out too (if that's your goal). I would take the opportunity if I were Ace, especially if this is his second chance in life.

Also, considering that Ace is living again and is aiming higher, are you going to consider of Ace having his Devil Fruit awakened in the near future? Any chances of us seeing his Conqueror's Haki?

As for the Marines... are we going to get Akainu's reaction to Ace's shenanigans? Especially if Aokiji's around too? *Hint *Hint

I've seen another fic like this but it was a one shot, but I hope this fic can keep going and get to the good parts eventually (the main One Piece timeline). No need to rush to get there though. This is Ace's journey anyway. ;)

woh now, a tat like that would take months to complete, not hours. the skin has to heal some otherwise you end up with a scared, gross looking tat. i know this is just a fan fiction, but if you want to be a real writer then you have to do your research. especially when its something as important to the story as covering the remains of Whitebeards Jolly Roger
