This was a fascinating story. The concept of emtions showing as different colors on Sesshomaru’s stripes was brilliant. The stories when the brothers get along are among my favorites.

I don't really get why ShiShi is one of the four souls when they didn't know him when the wish was formed, like at all. It would've made more sense for one of their party to be included, especially Inuyasha for courage. But maybe that was just a wrong guess on Sesshomaru's part? Or maybe I'm waaaaay misunderstanding that. Either way, such a beautiful story, I've cried like three times. Genuine tears lol

Oh why don't I ever think about the fact Inuyasha will be able to tell what they were up to once he turned back LOL. It makes me raise a brow and chuckle every time, so show me it was being sneaky when he said they would not alert Inuyasha if they were quiet. Which is true but says nothing of the after.

I wish cuddling like this was more normally. Platonically I mean. Snuggling up with the people important to you in a fire lit dim sounds so nice. Especially if you could trade stories like this.

I'm just going to tell myself I knew and forgot because there is no way I was THAT oblivious. But I always loved sanctum as a word. It really does describe the refuge the found in each other!

AH WAIT MY PROMPT GOT USED?! I'M SO DUMB. IT TOOK ME YEARS TO NOTICE OTL *wails into the night* I legit was happily reading this again and then went "Wait was that my name at the bottom?!" And jumped right back LOL. Better late than never I suppose. I really am enjoying the exploration of Sesshoumaru's relationship with everyone aside from Kagome though, it makes it feel more organic that everything isn't laser focused on her when they have yet to make that connection!
