Oh man this was amazing.
Ozpin using necromancy sounds way too close to how salem pissed off the brother gods, lets hope he isn't commiting a blasphemy.

Roman leading the people is very interesting but him being recognizably of noble descent? Maybe he was a disgraced son of a nobleman and thats why he was out here breaking bread and working fields. I think roman's plan involves turning the people on the nobles and when all is said and done he can take the title of king with the people cheering because well he Was the guy who freed them from the noblilty why not make him king.

Yang being a half vampire works really well actually. Raven and qrow both have pale skin, red eyes and black hair all very stereotypical vampire traits plus the turning into animals bit.
They each even have viable methods of feeding in secret: qrow seems to enjoy haunting bars where if a patron were to walk out and never come back no one would suspect a thing plus he always has his trusty hip flask maybe filled something red but not wine. Raven is a bit more straightforward, her bandits attack villages and take people hostage literally perfect place to pick and choose your meal.

Now i'm not saying i am definitely behind a forbidden romance between a paladin and a half vampire where the paladin offers his blood to sate her thirst but i am saying that jaune's constitution is high enough that he can handle losing a pint or two of blood every now and again to keep yang from being a serial killer especially in a kingdom with roman whipping the people into a frenzy.
Plus only he knows about her secret so he would feel at least a little obligated to help her.

Overall i love this chapter and am definitly hoping for more.

Good chapter as always. Now I am curious if the Princess and Paladin will end up together given they were so different with their family and her prestige royal background. Good to see more Schnee especially Willow, she doesn’t appear often in many stories. Take care and stay healthy.

I'll be honest, knowing how much Nora looks forward to adventure with friends and how much she's willing to do to make it work, it kinda makes me feel bad about Weiss being so annoyed about Nora a few chapters back.
