I'm glad to see you've put this back up. I recently ended up rereading the entire thing (as I've done a few times since I first picked this fic up), but it was nice to have some new chapters. I look forward to anymore we get.

I just wanted to leave you some encouragement and to let you know I enjoyed your work. I look forward to seeing how the story continues to develop.

I was always amused by the judging in the fourth book. Why are the directors of the participating schools judging the tournament? This is idiotic.

"Petrificus Totalus."
But how? While you pronounce this spell, enemy can do something a hundred times.

Is Scandinavian magic also called a Greek word? Huh?
Also, how sad is that. Harry, son of James? Inherited James' talent? Lily's academic curiosity? As if there is no Harry, but only the son of certain people. It's just like Sirius seeing nothing in Harry but his dead friend, only worse.

Frankly, Potter is too good of a person. As if you painted it only in white. I mean. Good friends, best (!) Friends, James Potter had, right? One is a traitor, the other foolishly ended up in jail, the third escaped altogether and didn't say shit. With friends like that, you don't need enemies. But your Potter has no grudge. And it's weird.

I’m kind of pissed at Dumbledore, the invisibility cloak is a Potter heirloom. To have taken it, then given it to Neville Longbottom, is pretty much theft.

I’m sure Harry would appreciate having something from his parents. Neville still has his grandmother who loves him, Harry has neglectful relatives who couldn’t care less about him. Between the two, who would appreciate the cloak more? Considering it was James Potter’s, Harry would.

I don’t know where Dumbledore gets off giving away a Potter heirloom to a Longbottom. Without even asking either. Harry isn’t even aware the cloak is rightfully his.

Considering this is AU, I’m not entirely sure if the cloak is a Longbottom heirloom instead. I’m just going off the assumption it is still a Potter heirloom, so ignore this if it isn’t.

I’m also pretty pissed with Sirius and Remus. It just seems like every adult is failing Harry in this story. It’s sad.

This story is absolutely amazing and cannot wait for more!

I've read and re-read this book so many times and I just can't get enough of it. Whether you continue it or not it's an amazing read. I love the way magic is approached and the character development so much

Kinda weird. The magic is cool, Northern Magics are handled well and feel intense, and I didn't notice anything overtly wrong with the writing, but the relationships killed it for me. Harry ran through three girls over the course of the story, it could be argued that Hermione doesn't count, but Tonks was significantly more well written than Fleur was. With Tonks, it feels a bit unlikely, but the hurt and build up was slow and compelling. Fleur, she made no sense. She was a bitch to him for a few months, then feels bad because she puts her foot in her mouth, and then she falls in love with him? With Tonks, it seemed like there was a genuine misunderstanding and things progressed naturally enough, but with Fleur, it felt like she was just used as a mode of maturation for Harry. Might just be my Fleur bias, but I really didn't dig that they just fell apart and that the supposedly ultra mature Harry just couldn't support her at all.

Harry has a CLOAK OF INVISIBILITY and the MARAUDERS MAP which he used many times before coming into fourth year. The plot holes are already there and this is just the first chapter. And the way Harry thought about Tonks when he saw her was something straight out of a teenage girls tumblr. I hope it gets better.
