Thank you for your latest. So the Taylor/BT combination is basically Supergirl plus or minus in certain areas. The concept is interesting and I'm enjoying reading it, but I can't see this lasting much longer.

That Prohibition era propaganda concerning Panacea's anti alcohol virus.
That is just. . . Sigh. It's an extreme overreaction to problem drugs/substance abuse. Without even considering everything that could go wrong with the method chosen.(allergies to sugar, anyone?)
I don't drink much/any alcohol... But suddenly not being able to partake in Holy Communion, toasting with champagne, or even just the occasional wine with a meal. . . I might push for the birdcage. I'd certainly do something!
It's just, so. . . Wrong. A violation of basic human rights. A social justice crusade gone to far! It be like hearing someone made a a bunch of viruses that fixed a lot of birth defects, and at the end of the list somebody included Left-handedness.
Not to mention, such a virus could literally kill people whose lives/livelihood depends on stuff with alcohol in it.
Furthermore, seeing as Panacea's in a hospital. . . It breaks my suspension of disbelief that she would do something like that in a place that uses Alcohol for disinfection. Both in general and on patients wounds. The ensuing lack of objection smack's of bad writing and high handed pontificating on the subject of, "alcohol is a bad drug!"
Weed, is an extreme but believable version of a substance of abuse... Alcohol is too far.

Uh, not sure Coil's power works like that, though who knows when he had started the two timelines that were running in parallel before the first explosion.

I'm guessing that having BT create a "precog" machine of some kind wouldn't affect the Simurgh even if the data gained from viewing however far in the future doesn't get used beyond creating some kind of randomization effect? Basically, seeing one or many futures somehow causes people to think "welp, I'm not going to do that" only for them to see fluctuation in the predicted futures that basically causes different futures to pop up and some making the viewers think "okay, so maybe doing that other thing would be better." Of course that thought comes with its own fluctuations and the random nature of humans observing future events might muddy the waters for the Simurgh. Maybe. She'd probably just grab some popcorn to watch the entertainment.
