Oddly enough, I find this E'to more likable than your Cauldron version. This E'to has every right to be jealous of Harry's improved home life, yet isn't.

Whereas the Cauldron one is jealous, but has no true reason to be so, as she's quite ignorant of Harry's actual life.

Yet again, unlike the E'to of this story who at least did her homework first.

I'm not counting your Hermione's adopted sister (IIRC) or Olivander's granddaughter ones in this comparison as their early improved family lives had a significant effect on their personalities, outlooks and thus responses.

Unlike the ones I initially pointed out here, where any changes in life were fairly late in life and thus had minimal effect on their development.

Ken doesn’t change for the better after certain events but manages to turn around.

I remember quite well that both leads in the canon had a normal child in their relationship, and married each other without help of any potions.

The Tokyo Ghoul series is quite interesting, and I am happy that the main character hooked up with the woman she loves.

The thing in the story is whether to keep Harry as a Human or something else because there are enough ghouls in the plot even including the hybrid of the male lead.

The moment you mentioned kindred spirits in the authors note I had the disgusting flashback of Eto licking Kanekis eyeballs
