Im really enjoying this fic. Jaune x Winter winter is an odd pairing, but its one I can definitely get behind.

Man, I forgot how amazing this story is. When I saw the update I just had to reread it again and WHEW, blew my mind how much I've enjoyed doing so. Strong characterisation with believeable reasoning behind their actions, even if those actions are sometimes foolish, entertaining banter and a solid story hook, what more could a person want! Do love the comeuppance Blake has finally received and how she's actually maturing as a person. Ren and Nora's relationship flourishing is sweet as well as Jaune and his team becoming closer and having a more fleshed out dynamic. Same for team RWBY too, they feel like actual characters rather than vehicals for the story. Ozma is delightfully disgusting too, a rather acurate portrayal of and immortal body snatcher who has only one meaning in like that actually matters to them. And of course, any scene with Winter in it is a treat. You should be seriously proud of what you've made here, it's a wonderful meal, so thank you for what you've made.

I have to stop this story. I enjoy it and it's really good, but it rubs me the wrong way with the whole Ilia thing. While I agree that it is stupid that she gets off so easy in cannon, I just can't agree with the way winter tore her a new one. Her parents died in SDC mines, and her classmates celebrated, but Winter has no empathy.

I might come back and see what happens later on, but while I am glad to see Ilia punished more, the way Winter showed no empathy rubbed me the wrong way. Her dad is an evil bastard, and while certainly wrong to do terrorism, the hatred of him (though not his family) is justified.

Yeah. Not a fan of how Jaune is made the but of the joke again. Even though he has improved, he is still the weakest. Not enjoying the bullying.
