![]() ![]() ![]() i had to reread the lastr little bit, i didn't get it at first, but thats no fault of yours, i'm stupid. lol good story love the detail. |
![]() ![]() Its true. Once you grow so fond and attached to your dæmon, its hard to think of someone not relizing they have one. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I like your style a lot, and the voice of the first-person narrator- very prim and intelligent but not snobbish. I don't really get a clear sense of his age, though; is he a middle-aged man, or older or younger? Also, what did he do? The book tormented him, but what crime did he commit? |
![]() ![]() I'm sure many people will love this story. Just not me. |
![]() ![]() uhm, didn't you intend to not write another HDM fan fic? Well, I am glad you didn't stick to that. So, why did I appreciate this story? Because every time I lift up a book the first thing I do is smell its scent. Unfortunately most modern books smell of plastic, funny stuff, but the few old books I lay my hands on - oh, what a sensation! Your story described this better than I have ever felt it myself. And when I read your story the screen seemed to emit a faint smell - no kidding, but perhaps this was due to some old books standing in the shelfs because I was in my father's "library" then. (I can advise you the book "The Perfume" (at least that's how it's called in German) by Patrick Süsskind, it deals with a similar subject in a truly fascinating way). |
![]() ![]() ![]() No, this is a digression of your first...series, I think? A fanfic of a fanfic, then. A very interesting story, subtle and emotional as always. I hope you keep writing! |
