Look, I'm gonna read this. Because its well written enough. But it's riddled with the stupid tropes the Draco/Hermione pairing has that has made me avoid it for so long. He cares about her already? No draco was genuinely racist, for lack of a better word, up until recently. By now Draco should dislike Greyback touching her because he's finally seeing her as a human in her own right and objects to her lack of consent. Not because, "I'm protective of her but don't know why, and Im not a tsundere!" His affection of a romantic nature does not, should not exist yet. And the whole purpose of your story should be, by nature of what canon was before here (your point of divergence) and the fact that it's slowburn is creating the affection from nothing. Other shit like them having a rivalry? Really, he considered her subhuman and was (apparently) beaten for lagging behind her, he wouldn't relish the challenge!

Omg this was so incredible. I had such a blast reading this. I loved every bit of your story. You did such a great job with the characters. I could believe every thing happened between Draco and Hermione and nothing ever felt too rushed. It was kind if infuriating how stubborn those two could be. and I was sitting there almost screaming "How can you not see that he is really in love with you". I loved how you added Fred into the story and how he and Draco turned out to be friends. but I have to say I kinda hate Ron in this story he is so freaking annoying and Harry too. I know where they are coming from but still this really pissed me of (sry for the language :D). I also liked how Narcissa was able to look over her prejudice for the sake of her son's happiness. I really hope there'll be some Mother-in-law/Daughter-in-law time. I can't wait to start reading the sequel. you're an awesome writer and I really enjoy reading your stories.

This is an amazing fic. I think you kept the characters very in character, something a lot of stories struggle with. I think it is played very well,and I like the little bits from Hermione's point of view. Can't wait to continue reading and am excited to check out some of your other works!
