Regarding unlimited blade works, I understand what you did counts as buffing it but to me it also makes it significantly less interesting. Deciding what weapon to use in each situation is much more interesting than every weapon now having essentially the same power level. Also how does this affect a noble phantasm that isn't strictly for attacking? Does Caster's Dagger now get an upgraded somehow? I would have much preferred either allowing him to trace stronger weapons (EA) and maybe allow for other items to be traced like magic staffs or something. I think allowing for perfect tracing instead of them being lower a tier is already a massive buff depending how you scale Overlord to Fate.

Jarring tonal shifts? I think the story flows quite nicely, it’s mostly lore consistent with Fate which is a tough thing to do because of fate’s complexity and confusing (at times) lore.
