Is it wrong that i want to see a full scale siege of Nazarak that gets repelled by Shirou using UBW. Still wondering how it would work. Maybe like Caster’s thing

I like what you've written, the only criticism I have is that given Ultimate Blade Works is Shirou's Reality Marble, or in other words, his soul externalized to become it's own reality, it shouldn't have changed.

It's the power of his soul, Zelretch doesn't have Heaven's feel or any notable soul effecting magic that would f with someone's soul such that it would effect a reality marble. It would have been fine unchanged given Shirou would still be able to guarantee get any boss weapons without having to necessarily even fight said boss. heck, he'd able to use a Boss's weapon against the boss itself.

I love your ideas, but personally, I like having Shirou as the only human player. It puts a cool contrast between the rest of Nazarick's "rulers." Although I do think it's been insinuated in the notes that there's a chance more characters from Shirou's past will be added to the story, (but I'm not sure).
Plus, imagine New World's surprise if they see Shirou as the only human amongst a bunch of heteromorphic beings.

As for the Groundskeeper, he (they?) sound adorable! I love the idea of a weaker undead NPC that loves life, it kinda gives me a "contrast between Momonga" vibe. But at the same time, I'm unsure where they'd fit in the story other than as a background character. (Still adore it, though.) Maybe they could be made as an extra character so they could add a garden for "more detail." (In truth, they just wanted to give Shirou fresh food- or as fresh as ones and zeros can be. )

I love your thoughts on what the NPC'S will do once they come back! I also like the idea of NPCS just being "frozen," or being kept from awareness by some force (although I think that might be just the original program of the game). I really, REALLY wanna see their thoughts on Shirou once they finally come into self awareness.

You are making me excited for when the story gets to the new world. I want to see the NPCs talk about how they lived in the game and how they saw things. Shirou can tell them they have nothing to be ashamed about. And they are cute Ducklings.

I wonder if the players are going to say there was a background spell in the old world that stopped the NPCs from talking. So now that they are in the new world they can talk. Or the NPCs could take this as the background spell was meant to stop them from existing but the supreme beings are so awesome that they extended their power to the NPCs so they would be less affected by the background spell and be able to do limited things.

I don’t know if you take ideas from readers but I read this in a story that wasn’t Overlord and it was funny. Can there be a NPC called Grounds-Reaper that would look like the Grim Reaper. It would be a groundskeeper that uses its scythe for its intended purpose for plants and cutting grass. It would probably be level 1 but the flavor text can say it can bring any plant or living thing back from death. Also it loves living things and wants to help them grow. A skeleton taking good care of living things could also be unexpected from the norm and jarring for many.

I kind of want more humans to join the guild so it isn’t just Shirou. He can’t be the only person who thinks the fighting between humans and Heteromorphs is dumb. Though maybe that would happen when they get to the new world.

Is the guild going to become the number 1 guild in the game? When there is a raid on their guild base is it going to be by more guilds? Are other Heteromorphs guilds going to attack too because they are jealous. Wouldn’t that change the NPCs' opinions on humans if Heteromorphs act like them.

I don’t know about how tracing works as much as others but does it work as the more people that believe in what the weapon can do the more powerful it is. Would something like Thor’s hammer be more powerful because the Avenger movies made more people know about the legend.

It would have been a fun play of words if it was called the Throne of heroes not Throne of kings.

damn! now this is how you bring characters to LIFE! before these two were but names on a piece of paper. names, who’s ultimate purpose, is normally to be forgotten as nothing more then mere driving points to push a story along.

you brought them to life while also not shying away from the hard topics that would makes people who and what they are. Ichirou’s struggles with his ideas of justice and Youta’s struggles with his trauma. both doing so in the corrupt dystopia of a world wheezing along on it’s death bed. you made it both so very real yet so very impactful. well done with this chapter

Also Shirou no matter what time, place, world or reality you find yourself in. you ALWAYS end up being the ‘Mom’ in every situation.

oh i like this chapter a lot! this is a nice wholesome foundation for a VERY healthy relationship and i love how real you made them feel! the flow of everything felt wonderful and it didnt feel like a distraction or a real fill but an actual progression for satoru’s character while bringing in a very wonder new character. she also seems like she would be a GREAT addition to the story and mix very well with the others in the guild too without having to force it. very nicely done. i hope she comes along on the trip to the new world.
