Bill being 25 in this story makes Fleur's age difference angst even more confusing; she was agonizing over Harry being 3 years younger while being completely fine with Bill being 8 years older. Fleur might've been using the age difference as an excuse to avoid thinking about her feelings, but her experience with Alphonse especially should've set off alarm bells with Bill.

The only explanation is that Fleur recklessly threw herself at Bill to stop thinking about her feelings for Harry in a fashion which caused her to ignore any misgivings she might've normally had about Bill.

Why is Fleur having age difference angst over Harry being 14 and her being 17 and not bat an eyelash about Bill being 23? Fleur even accurately guessed his age as being mid-20's; she's also still in school, and she could even be a 6th year depending on if her birth date fell between September 1 and October 31.
