Fantastic story! Read it all in one sitting. Certainly one of the best time travel fics on here. I like the approach you've taken to showing that whilst Harry certainly has many advantages over his classmates, he still can't afford to be complacent. Love Harry's emotional maturity in this. I wonder if Hedwig is really gone? Or did Hagrid come get her early in order to gift her to Harry BEFORE he went to get Harry? Its not PAST July 31 (which is when Hagrid would have come picked him up and given Hedwig to him) yet, is it, when Harry came to Diagon Alley by himself without Hagrid escorting him...
