The audacity of Sasuke though. Treating someone as badly as he's treating Hinata cause she's a liar,a traitor and more to him while he,himself is far from being a saint?
Like now you want to be the judge of somedy else choices of life while this person was never judgemental towards you despite ALL your wrongs?!
So hypocritical of him and i really don't understand why Hinata is so complacent and good with him.

It's been almost 4 years since this story was last updated, I'm going to assume that this is the end. Oh well, it was a fun ride while it lasted. Thank you for writing, I enjoyed reading the chapters uploaded.

I hope you are still updating! This story is golden.

This might be my favorite Hinata-centric story of all time. This Hinata is so badass and amazing, but also in such deep water with such messed up choices. You really have a great twist on the "male lead helps Hinata see her potential as a skilled leader and desirable woman" cliche plot line. I love how she played up her bashfulness and insecurity to deceive Akio, but also how you show that she is genuinely struggling between trusting herself and relying on other's perception. T

So, I'm assuming she killed Hiashi to try to prevent the war and win Akio's trust...? Did she also kill Akio? I hoping next chapter will explain more.

Oh my god, this story.

So Hinata left for the capital to save Sasuke. Wow, that really shines a new light on things. Two chapters ago you had me worried Sasuke might kill Hinata and now I'm thinking "How could he possibly not fall in love with her? She's so great. She defended him. She believes in his redemption. She has all these sympathetic, insightful thoughts about why he left the village and his battles against Itachi and Danzo...and she shares his deepest values about protecting ones team, clan, and village...How could he not see that she's The One?!"

Additionally, I've been reading these parts out loud and I love all the dialogue you wrote in this part of the story. You convey personality through dialogue so welll, especially the prince and the daimyo's sinister qualities and Naruto's well-meaning outrage. ("I beat the crap out of him!" Naruto saying to explain how he knows Sasuke was rehabilitated...lol.) The last conversation between Hinata and Naruto was so painful too. I can tell that Naruto cares very much about her and that he's upset by the general injustice and disrespect...but also that his attempts to comfort her are ripping her heart out.

That speech the prince gives in the graveyard about the Penny Bride and trying to bond with Hinata over their dead mothers especially gave me chills. The whole way he interprets the war and the Uchiha massacre is such a toxic mixture of jaded cynicism and spoiled prejudice. He comes across as like a very specific type of insufferable and formidable villain, instead of your generic cardboard "arranged marriage guy Hinata doesn't love back" and I want to see him get his butt kicked soooo bad.

Flashbacks aren't easy to write, but these are pretty intriguing. I like the layer of Sasuke's reactions to seeing people and places in her memories.

Also, when Akio was disrespectful to the Childhood Angst Swing I was like, HOW DARE HE!

wow, you have both their characters so compellingly written and your story is full of great twists and turns
I hope the mystery makes more sense with the flashbacks
