Só brilliant. You have a brilliant mind and a brilliant prose. It's truly a brilliant story. I forgot completely the thing about Frank and Alice. It's such a smart thing to have, narrative wise. There's no one more deserving of pride and comfort besides Harry than Neville in HP, and for you to pick his family as the connection to gryffindors is so brilliant. Most people would've gone with James or Lily, but you picked someone so overlooked, so ignored. Truly a brilliant choice.
This was brilliant and I can't wait to keep on reading.

Daphs flip flopping about her being a great spy had me giggling and whenever she said "damn gryffindors" I chuckled and shook my head.
She's just so goddamn adorable.
Once again, all this makes me feel is sad, because I don't think you'd ever write another Daphne that isn't from the Intent world, and while I love her here, you have such an unique Daphne that I want to see her in different scenarios. He'll, a Daphne that time travels or dimension travels would be glorious, could you imagine?

Hitting lots of tropes in this one, harvesting the basilisk, getting Dobby to be useful, getting and bonding with Winky, elf mechanics... Tsk tsk. Next thing you know, there's a Salazar portrait somewhere, mister

Joking aside, this was enjoyable as always though I feel it was more utilitarian in a way. Less heart to it. I'm not sure why. Still delightful, don't get me wrong. Just curious.

I remember being so pissed the first time I read this because I was reading as you updated, and I wanted more and more. This was just utterly lovely.
Also, I love the tiny foreshadowing of the checkers not chess, as well as Harry's use of "non idiot", same way her father categorized eligible bachelor's for her.
Really brings in the connection.

While I always say that your style of conciseness is great, I also get pissed because I wanted to see them talking more, so much more, and yet you had to be the squeaky clean author that does things properly and don't go overboard. Shame on you.

He's so blunt. And he's much smarter than canon, less emotional and high-strung. He actually just feels like s 30, 40 year old veteran, war weary and cynical.
You went for the low hanging fruit in the cliche department with the "how Slytherin of you" there that honestly made me roll my eyes.
And yet, right from the get go, you can see the spark. You can see the mutual interest and respect. It's delightful to witness.

How did none of us ever jokes about the PICS thing? Or even mentioned it? It's such a brilliant catchy thing to create.

You really have a gift at writing calm, cool and collected charters that feel alive and actually do feel. They aren't caricatures of how someone shod be. It's not even two chapters in and I'm already sucked in and hooked to Daph, and want nothing more than for her to succeed. Sometimes I wish I could delete all the memory I have of something just so I could experience it again for the first time. This is one of such times.
You, in just one chapter, set up so much background and showed so much character development and personality that people fail to do so in 200, 300k words fics.
I said I missed your writing and by God, this is why it's just such a blast reading it. Every paragraph either makes me feel or makes me smile, and often both.

Holy shit. I didn't remember you starting the story with Daphs presentation. This is a fantastic opening chapter, and especially her last monologue how could you not want to keep on reading when you promise so much in so few words?

Oh my Goodness, I am stupidly reading this and laughing and. crying. Stupid story making me care so much! I hope it works. I mean I know it works because of the prologue but now I am all wound up with Daphne in anticipation and Here comes the Sun is playing in my head and I can taste that stupid cake (although I have more faith in Harry' cooking) My face is all wet now. It's a good thing I was hiding in the bathroom when I was reading this chapter.

Great story! But really it's not about the story it's about the author and they've done a wonderful job with all of their story's!

Loved the fanfic, loved the beginning, loved the end. kinda wish you did something involving the deathly hollows since you mentioned Dumbledore telling Harry but I also know that it doesn't actually have anything to do with the story
