The expansion of the PJ world to include all these characters, events, and other pantheons works wonderfully for this story. PJ, unlike a lot of the other fandoms, doesn't really have the legs to make for a really long and complex story without adding in outside elements, in my opinion.

I don't think he's using his inventory to the fullest. The inventory is a powerful and highly useful ability. Stuff in there can't be destroyed. It doesn't have weight. It doesn't spoil. It's unaffected by time. It can't be detected. It's the perfect place to store ill gotten goods and valuable resources and he should be routinely stuffing that thing with all manner of useful supplies for any situation.

AS for healing, for a fan of the PJ books, why not put some ambrosia in there? Seems like a pretty big oversight on his part. It's instant healing with no cost other than restraint to prevent self-harm.

This kid is not a kid, but he's sure acting like it with his poor use of system advantages.

Gotta say, this fic pleasantly surprised me. I found it a while ago, but Percy not being the MC and Alex being kinda arrogant put me off, also knowing nothing about Highschool DxD made me not interested in that side of things at all. But the other day I tried again and I am now actually really interested in both sides of the story, and while I didn't expect it am enjoying the more hands off approach to the gamer side of things where we just kind of get check-ins at peoples levels every now and again.

My main complaint is just that Alex can still be kind of a dick, I do get that it's intentional, but I was hopeful when things seemed to be arcing towards him becoming more of a good person as he made connections with people and stopped thinking of it as just a game, but that never seemed to go anywhere.

Regardless, looking forward to seeing where this goes!

Welp I just read the whole thing in two days. Really fuckin good read. Enjoying the world building an awful lot and I really like Alex as a character. Pretty chill, smart decisions, generally a badass and not afraid to take a break and enjoy his life. Also the whole protecting humanity thing and soldier of Olympus stuff is pretty great. Really excited for more of this story now but I'm happy to wait.
