Do you not allow guests to post reviews on your stories? I have been loving everything I've read of this so far & just wanted to leave a little positive feedback about it. It's pacing, tonality and execution have all been quite easy to immerse myself in this story & really visualize the characters and their interactions. The looks and feel for them are somewhat canonical but not necessarily how the movies have them casted and portrayed. It's amazing that you were able to do this so very convincingly and I just wanted to say thank you, if you see this.

I'm very much enjoying this so far. DumbleAss is going to eventually get his & that's what matters a lot to me. Not sure what your plans are for Ron but I think I'll be cool with him being a true friend to Harry, or if he does become a jealous idiot if/when Harry gets into a relationship with Hermione (and probably Susan). Neville and Luna are such a favorite pairing of mine too, if you plan on pairing them, and I wish we would have gotten more about their potential relationship in the official story. Maybe, if you do keep him as a good friend, Ron could end up with Hannah. She's not entirely fleshed out in the official story either but I've read a few stories where they get together and Ron makes a truly good name for himself in the magical world & that they raise a brave, loyal, loving & healthy family aligned with the Potters and Longbottoms.

Oh, and PLEASE let Snape & Malfoy (both but especially MouthBoy Senior) go out squirming and screaming like the disgusting worms that they are. I REALLY don't like Snape. I'm so glad I found your story. It is giving me a pleasant reprieve for the weekend and a nice bit of quality solitude for me to leisurely immerse myself within. My lady says that I'll never "grow up & out of" my affinity for Harry Potter but she loves how passionately goofy I am about it (I got sorted into Hufflepuff lol). When someone writes about Harry being abused like this and what it will take to heal him, as well as him being bullied & not wanting to cause trouble to his tormentors, I cry. So...yeah, thanks for that.

I thought it was a good start, except that the chronology is a bit confusing.

First, the mediwitch Leanne says that the Draco/Buckbeak incident happened twenty years ago, and at the beginning it says that the year is 1995.

Then, due to the way the dialogue was written, the incident of Harry talking about Voldemort's return is also it seems to have happened years ago, which doesn't fit, since on that date in July, Fudge would have already started the campaign to smear the boy, and the third test was between the last week of May and the first of June.

I suggest you review this.

I really hate writers who make Riddle to be some super powerful Merlin type.
