I'm surprised that you've nerfed the good guys so much. You have death eaters that are shooting off a plethora of spells before the good guys ever get there and yet they always out last them. Not just this fight scene but the Diagon alley one as well.

Their pairing just doesn't seem to have substance 5o it and comes off more of a just because than anything to me. Even Neville and Hannah are building up to it vs it just happening out of the blue.

And now that I think about it, I don't think Harry found where St Mungo's was until book 5 when he went to visit Mr Weasley along with the Weasley family.

description is fine. not sure if its fanon that harry stays small for his age past 4th year,canonically he is tall as an adult. neways good first chapter. I liked the extra details you used to properly describe the injuries. Could be professional, but might not be, so good enough to fool the layman.
