![]() ![]() ![]() I just realized that Ron's match against amanda was the same game as the one he does in canon |
![]() ![]() ![]() Did The scene where Ron learns about the Triumverate get added in later or is ron losing it? |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh Did ron do the classic "Make money disapear by laughing and saying "Haha now it's my money" trick' My dad taught me that one |
![]() ![]() ![]() Huh... I don't really think of "Half blood" as being a slur in hp... It always just felt like that was the term used |
![]() ![]() ![]() It honestly makes sense that dumbledore would be concerned... Not just in the usual manipulative dumbles crap, but because of his own family... |
![]() ![]() ![]() I honestly can't decide if I want Red Moon or Redgrass more right now as the ship |
![]() ![]() ![]() I think the teachers are just suprised Binns knew Weasley was in his class... In canon he didn't even get harry's name right |
![]() ![]() ![]() So even though we're getting into some fannon cliches here... Cores and Wards and debts being an actual magical thing and not just a general social concept But I'll accept it here |
![]() ![]() ![]() So Glad I finaly decided to give this fic a read |
![]() ![]() ![]() Can't believe everyone else seems to have forgotten. That possessed child wraith is not Tommy but Victor Burke! The recipient of Ron's first murder. The serial killer of the Knockturn alley refugee camps. Been reading since 2019, before lockdown, Spartan. Amazed at the quantity and quality of your work. Played Hogwarts Legacy and Vampyr recently and loved the realisation that Dr. Reid is perhaps one and the same character? Or just inspired by the Jonathan of the game? Does that mean Myrddin Emrys is...? You know! |
![]() ![]() one of the great chapters i have read in this 168chapters of fate .This chapter was engaging throughout its length. So many emotional moments including Zotair's passing followed by the saddening fate of his tribe, reunion of Ron's friends, Greengrass family arc ,last but the most unexpected and thrilling seen at the event of Ron's public apology-so many touching moments. I can't also ignore the meeting at the headmaster's office-really enjoyed that was a wonderful chapter entirely, a mixture of many different scenes offering different ranges of emotions to the readers mind. Thank you so much. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Another legendary chapter from my favorite story and author! Loved this one please keep them coming :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Another awesome chapter. I loved the scene with Ron and Daphne, where they both seem so grown up, but in a beliavable way. I also liked how Snape took charge in Russia and Sebastians quest to prove Dumbledore wrong. If he is succesfull, at least in part, perhaps Ron will believe in some kind of redemption after all. But for that to happen, I am afraid that the Greengrass patriarch will have to die. The thing I dont like is how Dumbledore refuses to do what must be done and wage battle in equal terms with the dark lord. please let him see reason before both Ron and Snape turn on him. In any case, I cant wait to read the fight with the wraith, find out how Ron was saved and the fall out of such a public display. As usual thanks for bringing us the best fanfiction in the HP verse. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Yay! Update! I loves Daphne development. And maybe it's just me but she's sounds like at the end of the story she would be the one to put Ron down. Like in fantasy setting. The Healer/White mage putting an end to the Destroyer. And the cliffghanger. Lol for some reason I kept imagine it like in the fighting game where they put a close up of fighters. Looking forward for next update. I cried a lot in this chapter. |
![]() ![]() The opening scene was great, the confrontation between Ron, Albus and Daphne Greengrass's father at Hogwarts...like other reviewers, I enjoyed Dumbledore's disbelieving reaction to how easily Ron took down the old man's magical protective barrier, and I also liked how the Headmaster tore into Lord Greengrass after the Weasley boy left. The subsequent chat between Albus and Severus was good too, I liked the quality of dialogue and the cynicism and no-nonsense attitude Snape put on display here, nicely done. I more or less skipped through the next scene from Daphne's POV, the centaur's death...but you *did* surprise me in the scene after that with Ron promising to kill Snape if he ever stopped "proving his worth", so well done with that one. The next part of the chapter where Daphne was dealing with...everything, I liked how Molly comforted her, and how her fellow Slytherins came over to the Burrow to provide support and comfort as well. Not so much when the Greengrass family arrived and took Daphne and Astoria back home - I'm not entirely sure why, it was probably how the tone of the text here seemed a bit...off, for want of a better word. I much preferred the later scene where Daphne's parents were arguing in private, where Sebastian realized just how deep in the crap he and his wife were - especially the part of who would take care of Daphne and Astoria, once he and his wife were gone. Afterwards, the chat between Fate!Ron and Ravenclaw!Ron was okay, even if it was disturbing to see how much they'd influenced each other after all this time - but the next scene with Ron confronting Daphne's mother at the Greengrass Manor was much better, the plot and pacing were both excellent there. Later, the centaur funeral felt a bit rushed - but you made up for that with the unexpected development of the sick committing mass suicide, the Champion gaining a magical warhammer and Ron and Daphne's chat over her decision to become a Healer...I must admit, I look forward to seeing the Greengrass girl's interaction with Poppy Pomfrey in the future. The final conversation between Ron and Daphne's father was written well, and I liked the twist with the wolfsbane potion ingredients being given to the Weasley boy, and the way the redhead just handed them over to Amelia Bones afterwards (nice snark levels in the conversation between those two, by the way). The encounter between Ron and Percy was nicely painful, the interlude with Snape in Russia a little distracting, but the cliffhanger at the end where Ron survived the Killing Curse and then started punching that wraith - brilliant stuff! Looking forward to more soon, as always. |
