Great Chapter. Though I wish we could have seen Bill's POV to know if he will still be investigating Ron.

Your story is so deep and dope the concept really hit me hard! I loved how vivid and engaging it is, and I can totally see it working beautifully as a comic. I’ve got a couple of ideas I think you’ll love, and I’d be thrilled to adapt it if you’re open to it. Let me know what you think!

You started off fairly well with Daphne Greengrass dealing with the aftermath of the battle in the previous chapter, and then the scene at the Burrow - it was all quite emotional and well written, especially Arthur Weasley's defeated mumblings. The next scene with Daphne's parents in Magical Germany, I more or less skimmed through it - but not the scene after that from Tonks' POV! Not sure why, but her new job with those werewolf kids was intriguing reading, you have a talent for writing child characters very realistically (especially the disfigured one who wouldn't speak).

Hmm, the next few scenes from Alastor Moody's POV...you wrote him in character, from talking to his Aurors, talking to Barty Crouch, talking to the goblins and talking to Ron Weasley. I liked how he just had more questions than answers at the end of that final conversation, and how Ron threatened to kill him! Harry's short interlude with the corporeal patronus was okay, and the next scene from Ginny's POV...I couldn't help thinking Molly's 'plan' for Percy was going to blow up in her face, sooner rather than later! Neville's chat with Harry about learning the patronus charm was okay too, as was Ron hiring Barnabas Cuffe for his newspaper. It made me wonder what'll happen when he and Xeno Lovegood inevitably clash, though...

The next scene where Sirius and Remus were having domestic issues...I hate to admit it, but I nearly burst out laughing when I read Harry's sulky line, "No one tells me anything", it truly was a classic. The argument between Charlie and Percy Weasley about his living arrangements, again I pretty much skimmed through it. The Arthur/Percy father-son coming of age tradition after Perce got his first job did go on a bit, and I found Percy's desire for Hogwarts to reinstate corporal punishment a bit OOC, but overall that wasn't too bad. Later, Daphne's talk with the centaurs was a bit ho-hum, but I was intrigued by the concept of what'll happen if she brings Ron to talk with that female chieftain again...

The final scene where Percy left home and cut ties with Ron at the Leaky Cauldron, giving him the emergency money pouch back? I have to agree with some other reviewers...it was both in-character for the new Ministry official and the Champion SHOULD have seen this coming, he knew Percy's character well enough to predict how his brother would react. And the final bit where Ron indulged in the self-harm again...painful to read but good stuff as well. Looking forward to more in 2025!

I think we are being too hard on Percy here. He has helped Ron in the past, with his class notes pre school, and recently against Forge's prank situation. And now it is time to start working and earning and he doesn't want to risk that by spying for Ron. A near perfect academic career should land you a secretary job at a minimum. Percy earned that sans Ron. And whatever Bones et al are scheming, let's wait and see if Percy does any spying on anybody.

Always great to have a chapter to calm things down and get the perspectives of everyone else, it was also a great groundwork for how the chapter ended!

oy vey another "pAiN iS dA beSt tEAcheR" arc for Ronnie boy. Fun. We've done this entire song and dance during christmas with his broken face, and again with his broken leg when he got beat by the auror trainer. Time is a flat circle so I guess it's time to bring it back again.

The annoying part is that Ron should've seen this coming. During his years at Hogwarts, Percy always chose his own education over Ron. Time and time again he gets annoyed because Ron held back information from him, and yet when called out by Ron who brings it to his attention that he could always ask after Ron, he folds. As smart and wise as Ron is portrayed, he should've seen and understood that Percy would've chosen the perceived optics of being the new personal assistant to the leader of a growing political regime over his constantly lawbreaking brother. Optics and public persona is something Ron knows well and understands, and yet...

Ron's ability to read other characters is weaker than he leads on. While he feeds us readers hokum about the stolen money being for emergencies, that's just pretext, the real reason he wants him to have the money is to keep Percy in his pocket. And when things don't go his way he gets all whiny and starts hurting himself...again. For all his machismo, Ron is such a snowflake. I get that he's our badass saviour, but the generic repetitiveness of his arcs are tiresome and bloated.

I've invested almost 4 million words worth of timereading in this fic, so no point in walking away. But I'll use this opportunity to point out the weaknesses in this fic rather than its strengths. Looking forward to Ron relearning that pain is not the best teacher.

Sweey! An early Christmas present in the form of another chapter in my absolute favorite story. Thank You very much for this.
So far everything seems to be going at a pace for Ron. Daphne is finally wakling up from her spoilt little princess lifestyle but she still has a ways to go. For one thing she will hopefully look at Rons example and realize that he would be nothing more than a dirt poor peasant with delusions of grandur w/o the money he has. Sure he worked his ass of for it but money equates power, always has always will and SHE happens to be poor powerful thanks to her father and families efforts. She can bandage wounds all she likes and make herself feel oh so good about how she's helping the poor and downtrodden OR she can embrace her families wealth and power and do some actual good with that money. Time will tell but Ron's example of the Squib house, the werewolf sanctuary, the good works in Diagon alley all came from money.

As far as Theo and Millie I can't wait to see where that goes. Theo as a spy is just too hilarious to contemplate but maybe if he has the devils own luck he may pull it off.

Once again Percy the big headed boy strikes again. He may not have separated himself from the rest of his family this time but he did destroy the one family member who loved him the most all n the name of ambition.

I can already predict a Cuff vs Xeno battle royal coming on hard and strong. In his defense Cuff has no idea that Xeno is protected by Ron and I'm sure that Greta wont be the one to tell him seeing as she knows that Xeno has Rons full protection so a little manipulation on her part gets the new editor to get rid of the dead weight that's dragging HER award winning newspaper down.

Nice to see Harry and Neville kicking around and that Harry can learn to grow into his powers w/o it being a life or death situation like being surrounded by actual Dememtors.

All in all a great chapter. I look forward to seeing more of the obscure story elements being brought out like the gas weapon Ron has, the basilisk fangs still in his vault, the Master Vampire still on the loose gunning for Moodys blood for defeating him at Malfoy Manor and so many other elements just waiting to be reintroduced. The complexity of your story is amazing.

Jesus Christ. I really thought Percy would have...not fucking done that. Ugh. He was turning into a likeable man, and then just threw away his morals for a job he hadn't even started.

Damn the final two PoVs, really changes the pacing of the entire chapter

I love how the centaurs view Ron as a whole, someone who doesn't follow the rules of nature (the stars) that can be what the world'need but if he stays his welcome he would do irreparable damage

Cuffe's PoV was an interesting one, knowing that not only you loss to a child in something you have being doing more years that the kid has lived, but knowing that he is your last chance to be relevant in the industry, another thing that I like it is that Cuffle as someone who is an outsider of Ron's world he can realize that Ron's employees are really loyal to him

I know Moody how it feels that your boss try to make you do unreasonable goals that he make them even more impossible... I really do

Daphne PoV was the most interesting for me, making amendments of Ron's actions and her father's too (I'm really waiting to see what would be her reaction when she find what his father is doing with the wolfsbane market)

I'm waiting for that conversation between Ron and the Centaur chief
