The story turns depresive and foreboding since chapter 72, with long long readings about suicide, the attemp to, and living after, and other topics. So you reader now know what eventually will come if you start. I jumped all that, 30 chapters. The chapter 109 which is the last posted when I write this, it's actually interesting again. Perhaps I'll keep reading the story if other equally interesting ones come later.

I don't really see or understand the removal of Apparition. Doesn't really serve a purpose honestly.

Also, Amelia's characterization is rather piss poor, and her 'options' and claims of her being able to press charges against Sirius for his actions towards Vernon make no sense. Harry is, essentially, a minor, who just got attacked/hit/abused by Vernon, not for the first time, apparently, and Harry is under Sirius' guardianship and care, plus he wasn't even supposed to go to the Dursley's apparently. So quite frankly, Sirius striking Vernon should actually be applauded and I don't see anyone raising a fuss over it, especially if Vernon were to go to trial over it.
