1.) Glad Draco isn't heir Black. Honestly no one gives a fuck about the Malfoys. Quite frankly Draco doesn't need anything else, he's already a spoiled, self entitled little prick.

2.) 1,000 Galleons to Lupin seems really low.

3.) Sirius should NOT be able to break a contract for Draco. Yes, Draco might have some Black blood, but he's the Malfoy heir.

Honestly I don't like this version of the Wizengamot. Doesn't make sense and seems confusing.

Great to see you advancing on this. I need to reread the previous few chapters for context but this feels like a complete chapter with solid thinking behind it. I do hope your muse won't run quite so far in the future and thank you for your hard work on this.

A very different world you have built here.
1) No apparition? Even "muggles" have multiple ways to get from point A to point B, so why remove it from the magicals?
2) Dudley could see the dementor? Either he will turn out to be a squib or barely enough magic to qualify as a hedge wizard, or your world's "muggles" will need major obliviations if the dementors get sicced on them later in the story. Or it's a mistake on the author's part.
3) A muggle-baiting head of the DMLE? Really?
Liking the general plot, but the details are rough.

The main problem I am having reading this fic is that HP doesn't have any real goal here. He's just going with the flow basically.

And I am really sorry for calling it that but bear with me for a moment. What you have done is basically made the HEAD of the DMLE (wizarding police) aware that Harry Potter, the savior of Wizarding Britain, was abused and the only thing she did was to pull some prank spells on Dursleys.

It literally can't get more stupid than that.

She did not open investigation. She did not arrest them. She did not make an outcry. She did not inform the muggle authorities.

She just... pranked them?

Is this how the Head of DMLE acts? Really?

I mean, I guess it might have seemed funny to you at the moment but that's just... stupid. And don't tell me she couldn't have done more. That she couldn't have done HER JOB. That's a really weak excuse.

I can't really even blame you because too many authors do similar things. They make people aware that Harry was abused in their stories and then they disregard it as if it doesn't even matter. Let the Dursleys get away with their crimes because child abuse apparently doesn't matter.

I don't know why is every author sparing Dursleys. I mean, sure, they probably don't deserve being killed. But they still are guilty of child abuse.

And in return? One punch to Vernon's face as if that solved the entire problem.

In other fics, there is not even this one punch as if Harry's forgiving nature was something special and holy. As if the authors tried to make Harry pretty by excusing Dursleys abuse.

Feel free to disagree but it is BS in my opinion. They should be punished and it should not be just swept away as if it didn't matter. That makes me feel pretty bad, to be honest. As if the author was completely fine with the abuse his MC suffered. As if that was completely normal. Even expected.

I guess that's one thing I really don't like on many HP fanfics. They disregard Dursleys.

Eh, maybe something will happen to them in the latter chapters? I sure hope so.

I really like Harry's new room.

I think that having Narcissa and Draco staying in a house of their own will be the best for all four of them. Harry's been through a lot and so has Narcissa, but I think that Harry would've been stressed out if Draco stayed at the same house as him fulltime. This way, Harry and Sirius can still see Cissa and Draco if they want and the two Slytherins will have theirr own place to call home. I can't see Draco agreeing to live with Harry if there's a way to avoid it Of course throughout the fic, the four will probably become acquaintances at the least...I guess I'll have to read on to find out how the character development goes.

Really glad that Harry's stepping in when it comes to Kreacher and punishments. After going through what he did at the Dursleys it's no wonder that Harry won't want anything or anyone to go through things like forced punishments of one's self.

lol, I'd choose option a too Sirius, not that there's really a choice when facing the head of the DMLE. I like that Sirius and Amelia stood up for Harry in their own ways against the Dursleys. Interesting explanation to Harry about the houses.
