Ah hell what a cliffhanger of a return chapter. I was rereading this fic after seeing you update and I am both enormously satisfied, yet left craving more. How the hell are they getting out of this mess, what with Ruby going berserk and revealing her hybrid nature in such a massive crowd.

With all the references you make in your fiction are you gonna give these Golden eyes a Mangekyou Sharingan reference? After all it is similarly acquired through deep love turning into hate by loss.

So glad this fic is still alive, I'm so pumped for what comes next.

There is in my mind a thought, as ephemeral as impertinent, that clings to the most hidden corners of my being, like a tenacious specter in the penumbra of reason. I feel, with an uncertain but indisputable clarity, the presence of a deja-vu, a kind of reminiscence that takes me, almost as if in a dream, to the pages of that story, “Professor Arc”, born of the genius of Koeur Alaran.

It is as if the very essence of that story were seeping into the folds of this new narrative, melting into a mysterious and familiar embrace that I cannot quite decipher. This parallelism disturbs me, unsettles my spirit and awakens in me an indefinable fear, at the same time as a strange and lively emotion.

I have yet to unravel several chapters of this story that intrigues me so much, but I assure you, my dear interlocutor, that the plot is becoming more and more exciting, and my heart beats with the anticipation of what is to come.

What a cliffhanger ending. I can't tell if Jaune got tricked by Emerald to lose in a horrendous way or if Ruby is instead trapped in an illusion.

Anyway, the fallout is going to be something to behold.

Well I binged it and it is a highly enjoyable story the latest chapter feels like such a cop out on the cliffhanger I feel that it invalidates a lot of the themes that were being built up. I will hold my horses however until the next chapter since I could be pleasantly surprised if Ruby's Golden eyes end up being a little more conceptual in their "destruction" maybe she destroys hurt or injury instead and Salem's well laid plan is foiled.

Wait and see I guess , still excellent story like holy shit 10/10

We haven't seen Pyrrha in a while so I think Jaune is gonna make it past Penny this round somehow. Remember in Chapter 26 Jaune promised he'd face Pyrrha and strip her of her title? We haven't seen JNPR anywhere at all in the past several chapters and I think thats on purpose.

Mallo is saving their re-entrance into the story for Jaune's match against them.

Jaune will likely discover something new about his semblance that will allow him to win. I think this is the first time he's ever truly pushed his semblance to the limit like this. He's gonna grow during this battle.
