![]() ![]() ![]() Wonderfully done. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I just realized Izuku has pulled metaphorical and realistic Palpatine by killing his master and becoming a high ranking politician that is playing both sides and ensuring he comes out on top. |
![]() ![]() ![]() this is so good i already forgot season 5 exists |
![]() ![]() ![]() This is entirely my fault, due to my being American, but seeing the word 'twat' broke my immersion and made me laugh so damn hard. I love this so far, and it seems very promising as I go along, but I just wanted to share that luttle tidbit, since it made me laugh. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wow, I read that in one sitting. Felt like more than 170,000 words. I really enjoyed that, a true and proper... anti-villain? I enjoyed it, though I wish there was more to the wish-fulfillment portion, as seeing his effects and more reactions would've been really cool, a lot of the chapter just felt like the internal dialogue of the random oc. I didn't think this would be a good story at first, I keep seeing the synopsis but read it after seeing he was aged up, however it really wasn't in the way I thought he would be. I am glad you hadn't made the original, canon, ending the one where it all works out. I think if it ended up with him failing I would be writing some really hateful stuff right now. But I suppose that just shows how much I enjoyed this. The characters felt really organic and well made, I felt like their thoughts really made a lot of sense, and I suppose that considering a lot of this was politics if you weren't able to write well that this would've been a shitshow. One of my favorite parts was the epilogue, where he sits and just thinks "What now?", which I feel like is something a lot of authors think when they need to wrap up a story, and the simple answer was for him to just keep going on with his life. It felt very real, for a person to fulfill their goals and wonder what to do. However I suppose there should've been more... moments(?), I forgot the word, but I think you should have made the characters have more moments with them, I really felt disconnected in a way from them. Like Dabi and Izuku talking or maybe some form of romance between him and Himiko, I felt like it would have made his death more impactful and the extra chapter sweeter. I need to talk a nap, or a cold shower. |
![]() ![]() I took a while to read all this story bit it was really good. Interesting ending that you did, with the underworld coming to the funerals of Imoku x) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Been a while since I began the story! I'm back to finish it :) Kinda seems to me that Imoku is the one that instructed Toga on the attack and that even Twice being caught was planned... I suppose I'll see later if it is! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I said nothing, he DID manage to reproduce it, it seems... Is the name QERI containing "Eri" voluntary? (Maybe it's said later, I'll see) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Holy shit... He had two of the Quirk-Erasing bullets huh? So the second didn't go to research to recreate it, but was kept for Sensei... Way to go |
![]() ![]() ![]() I actually didn't think that Izuku would kill Shigaraki (or order him killed). Thought he would die in a final struggle from the heroes at the end of Part 1. But, well, I was wrong |
![]() ![]() ![]() Never underestimate a mother's instincts, huh... |
![]() ![]() ![]() Interesting first chapter |
![]() ![]() ![]() Best My Hero Academia fanfiction ever... hats off |
![]() ![]() ![]() I've been binging a lot of your works for a while now, and I'm always amazed at how you make such broad strokes in your story while staying consistent with the little details that make each character tick. Even though politics aren't my cup of tea, your writing most certainly is. Thank you for the good time. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Another great chapter. To be frank I’d be on Izuku’s objections with trying to recruit Katsuki, the guy is a stubborn and aggressive kid but at least knows what it means to be a hero. Maybe not a wholesome hero but one who fights like one. But in canon he makes a series of realisations and develops, but it’s fair to say he never faced to road bumps. So I’d assume he’s still a jerkass. With UA’s constant disasters mounting up they'd be desperate to regain public trust, too bad when your famous you can be painted as infamous. It’s a nice touch that Izuku tries not to botch up his alliances with the League, and where All for One reminds him that he’s a member through and through. Have to appreciate Izuku’s commitment too. Calling him Imoku Kakurete is a good touch too, I don’t actually grasp the naming but it sounds ingenious to be given a code name where they’re hidden but in plain sight. |
