MYSTERY OF DEPARTMENTS?

This was a fun one…started off a bit cracky, got a bit over-serious for a bit (but actually more interesting and engaging), and ended well, with an epilogue of pure fun. Nicely done! Going to check the sequel and other stories now, thanks for posting!

The fic started as somewhat entertaining, but the last 5 or so chapters were an absolutely directionless trainwreck. Everything around the Yule Ball was either boring or cringy as fuck, the sudden drama with Harry/Jim was annoying and certainly didn't belong here, and lastly, this chapter was stupid in every way. You seem to have lost any semblance of actual humour along the way. Not gonna bother with the rest.
