This is amazing and I wish you’d continue it despite it being years since you updated

I just found this story and am so glad I did. I haven't been in the LOTR fandom for a while and honestly just reopened to look for and reread some old favorites of mine (Home with the Fairies, Don't Panic!, etc.) in a spur of the moment decision, and I clicked on this story out of curiosity while I was going through the top rated OC fics (I forgot the title of the fic I was looking for, just that there was an OC, so I was checking several fics). AUTHOR, the way that I didn't skip chapters while reading this fic. You bet I read every single word. I devoured it. I forgot how different LOTR OC romances are. Now THIS is a love story. It's well-written and the way Eomer and Charlotte come together is so natural. The angst hits well, so does the fluff. My smut-rotted brain benefited from reading a fic like this. You inspire me to pick up the pen figuratively and work on my fics too. Thank you for writing this story. I'm to check if you have this posted on AO3 too, but jic I forget or can't find you there, I'd just like to tell you that this fic is awesome.

I usually filter out incomplete stories but this one caught my eye and I am so glad. This is a beautifully well written story. I am so sorry for the loss of your father during COVID and hope you are taking the time to heal from that loss. Maybe add someday you will return but until then be well and take care.

Second, this world you’ve turned on its side is fascinating and I’ve loved every word. I reread Stirring the Leaves once a year, and finally went looking to see of you had other fics, and I was not disappointed! I sincerely hope you return to this story one day, but please continue to take care of yourself. Even if that means it remains unfinished and I have to imagine the ending myself.

I haven't had a chance to read it yet, I have the rather unfortunate habit of seeing/ needing to check if a story is finished before reading it through and happened upon the reasiong for this story not being completed. i know I'm a stranger and more than likely we'll never meet, but i am sincerely sorry for yours and your family's loss. I hope you and your family are doing okay and that all the trials and tribulations that 2020/21 and lockdown caused are over and your doing okay and keeping your feet on the ground. I've read and re-read this story several times after discovering it a few months ago and I have to say you have a gift with words! Historically I have found Gondor to be more interesting than Rohan, but this story may have single handedly flipped that notion for me. Your writing scratches an itch in my brain and the chapters about the plains of Rohan are some of the most unique and captivating bits of fanfiction I've come across. While I'd love to read an end to this story one day, what you were able to share here is still pretty remarkable and I'm glad you decided to put this story out in the world. Bravo!

This is probably my fourth or fifth time rereading this fic, not to mention the fact I reread Stirring the Leaves every few months.
Absolutely beautiful storytelling. I love how different both Lizzy and Charlotte are as respective Oc's. I love the fact that Charlotte is soft and feminine and not a fighter in the same way Lizzy is feminine, but tough. Its enjoyable to read both of your fics knowing they exist in the same universe, but also that it's not simply a copy and paste of OC inserted into each story.
Your depiction of Eomer's romance with Charlotte gets me giddy everytime. I love that they fall fast!
I look forward to the day this story is completed, and know that us readers will patiently wait for any of your marvelous works!
