I just want you to know this story absolutely CONSUMED me tonight OMG! I love it so much. The slow burn, the way Charlotte & Eomer are with each other. Like my heart almost stopped several times I thought I was going to die. I wish I could go back and read it for the first time again OMG. When Eomer got all the blackberries? I died. When she was panicking and he called her my love? I absolutely ascended. I will be going back and reading this over and over and over. If there’s to be an ending I really REALLY hope Charlotte & Eomer get a happily ever after. BEMA I loved this story so damn much.

I have read this story and Stirring the Leaves at least 20 times, probably more. Your writing is fantastic and fits in wonderfully with Tolkeins writings. Even if you were to never write another chapter I would still consider this story one of my all time favorites that i can't help but reread over and over. Thank you for sharing your gift with us.

I never thought I could love a GIME fic as much as Stirring The Leaves, but look at what you've done to me! It's 4:30am, and I have to be up for work in 30 minutes, and I just read this straight through the night, I didn't dare stop... I'm so in love with these two, I could cry!...

I stumbled upon this story by accident, looking for a tale about Eomer, but then I recognised your name/alias and I had to read this. Some years ago, I followed the updates of "Stirring the Leaves" which is my favourite story on this site. I was in uni at the time, and each update was a thrill, taking me away from the mountain of schoolwork I always had on my hands. I have re-read it since and it still is brilliant. Your work has brought me such joy, I am so sorry you are going through sad times at the moment. I do not yet know what it is like to lose a parent, but my heart goes out to you and your family.
I have thoroughly enjoyed this story, loving how you bring Rohan and it's people to life, always in a very compelling and believable way. The reference to Lizzy was such a nice touch I must say. Thank you for saving Theodred, I imagined myself in Eomer's stead, having my brother basically sacrificed for the greater good, it would have been awful. The way Charlotte's presence itself was the reason for his survival was nicely done. I await further chapters eagerly, and hope your muse wakes up again.

Just wanted to say this was a lovely chapter, and I am so sorry for your loss. We lost a beloved family member this past year as well, and of course I could not attend the funeral. It's a horrible thing to lose someone at any time, but in the middle of a pandemic it feels so much worse. I hope that writing can serve as an outlet for you, and perhaps bring you some comfort-you're an excellent writer, and most importantly you should be writing because you want to, not because you feel obligated to. Wow, what a good story! I feel like it is a perfect example of how to drop a well-written and likeable OC into a story successfully. I love that she is in her favorite tale and trying not to change events. Charlotte’s knowledge of numbers and writing being the way in which she becomes respected, is genius and very believable. Everything is paced well. Such a fun story to read!

I just binge read your entire story, it is too good to put down! I love your writing style, and your explanation for how Charlotte appeared in ME.
