Anyways, I hope you update soon because I have absolutely fallen in love with your writing. However, i completely understand if you aren’t continuing or just taking a break. Writing can be stressful! OH MY GOSH. I am so in love with this story! I had fallen a bit behind so I went back and reread everything to refresh my memory, and it just reminded me why you are one of my favorite authors on this site.

I adored the Stirring the Leaves callback! It didn't even occur to me that Legolas and Gimli would have known Liz from her time with the Company and her days ruling with Thorin. I know it is not their story, but if it is agreeable to you, I would love to hear how Liz and Thorin's live together was! Or even a separate little snippet showing something of her days as Queen and as a mother. I assume by this time she is probably passed away, given that her lifespan is shorter than the dwarves around her, and I would also think Thorin wouldn't live too long without her. Though I could write an entire review discussing that brief moment in this story, I need to move onto the stars of this show!

Charlotte is such a wonderful OC, and I loved her sacrifice to save Theodred. I cannot wait for their reunion. I'm sure he will express gratitude that she will immediately reject considering she will still feel guilty that she would have let him die. I am so excited to see how the rest of this story plays out now that she has inadvertently (and also purposely) changed things. I am sad Boromir couldn't be saved, but it does make total sense that he would be lost. I am so glad you were able to save Haldir though! I never liked his death, it seemed unnecessary to me. I also confess myself surprised that Grima tried to defend Charlotte from the orcs abuse. It is an action that I didn't expect but I am pleasantly surprised by. I know it probably wouldn't have taken much effort on the orcs part to still get their way, but that he said anything to try to stop them at all surprised me. I kind of assumed with the creepy way he lusted after Eowyn that he wouldn't be opposed to "men" taking what they want by force. Though it doesn't undo all the terrible things he has done, it maybe gives him a smidge more humanity for me.

I have fallen so deeply in love with the relationship between Eomer and Charlotte. They are so wonderful together, and that they have been able to work through the difficulties Charlotte's knowledge brings upon them shows how solid they are as a couple. I can't wait to see what other trials they face and how they overcome them. I also can't wait for Charlotte to stop giving a crap about the wife that Eomer will never have and just bang her husband. I totally get the sentiment and why she feels like its wrong to "take him" from a woman who was meant to have him, but that possibility for his future is pretty much destroyed lol. Charlotte has essentially ruined all other women for him, and their relationship has changed his story completely. I cannot wait to see what else you have planned for this story! Great work :)
