your character (in every fanfic i've checked out so far) has some difficulties borderline bipolarity - he wishes for the girl to come to him on her free will while he's not affecting her bluntly but then all those 'subtle' affections with her mind that go one after another is pretty much the same as the thing he 'doesn't want to do'. Because not applying one thing means that he'll most likely screw up. Wishing to enhance one's pleasure is pretty much the same in every case.
