There aren’t many who shipping stories out there, or those that are really well written with a sincere plot. While I’m a strong pokeshipper (and I’d never write any egoshipping of my own), I do enjoy the dynamic between Misty and Gary. I read egoshipping every now and then, and I LOVED this one. It’s perfect. Your writing is excellent. The way you describe the characters’ feelings and emotions. It’s all so elegant. Keep it up!

Wow! What a blast from the past to see new EgoShipper content from one of my all-time favorite writers! I created a new FFNET account (I also have an AO3 under this pseud), so I have yet to do anything on it. But I was searching far and wide for something to give me that spark of information that I needed. Your various portrayals of Gary are what inspired me to kickstart my own writing blog for him on Tumblr. I have never met someone around who was as big a Gary fan as I am, so you honestly charmed me when I stumbled across your fanfics as a youngin'. I was probably in middle school the last time I consumed all your fanfics like a glutton because your writing is just so amazing!

And it still is! I can see how much you've grown as a writer here. I can see a vast change in your writing voice. It's still you, but the flow is much smoother and while you already had an expansive exposition, it's gotten even more developed! I really love how you stay true to your portrayals of Misty and Gary. Their portrayals are incredibly believable and you put a lot of depth into their characters and I simply cannot fathom how you do it. I really love how you seemed to go out of your comfort zone here and wrote your first, amazing 'big girl' story! Even if sex is involved, it's not overly explicit and tastefully written, which is an amazing feat. It's absolutely incredible. You are and will forever remain my greatest inspiration for writing Gary as my main writing muse. I hope to be as talented and skilled as a writer as you are. I read your older fics Saving Shard and Watch Your Back way back when I was in highschool (in 2010 I think?). I was just playing the new mobile game Pokemon Masters and I got Blue! Seeing Misty and Blue on the same screen in this game canonically re-sparked my love this ship! I came to re-read your old fics but what a very pleasant surprise to find that you're still active! You're amazing for sticking with this! I wish you all the best plot bunnies and no writers block! Thanks for writing :)

This cat is semi-alive after all those convention travels since we last talked! Haha, so now that I finally logged into ffnet and updated on my end, I'm like cramming as much backed up egofics I have lying in my email inbox as a reward XD

Anyways, dudette, such a rollercoaster ride! My heart and emotions was all over the place with Misty's and Gary's situation. Every time when Misty is her stubborn self and not wanting to trust Gary again (which I don't blame her) but my mind was like yelling at her to go back to him! Lol XD

But it all worked out in the end and I just died at the part when Misty told Gary she wanted to throw the pokeball and the confusion from him was priceless. I've seen that kind of drunk nonsense from a lot of friend's conversations and it always cracks me up.

Loved it and finally got to read the story to the smexy cover! Catch you around when we both can catch a breather! Much lovies and ta ta for now!

I'm left in complete awe, this story captured the sensual vibes that this pairing alone radiates, but you were uniquely and successfully able to turn that physical sense into an emotion as deep and complex as love. This was pretty enjoyable to read! I remember reading your older egoshipping fics and I can tell your writing style has definitely matured. I like how you portrayed Misty as having this insatiable thirst for Gary. I definitely felt the sparks fly between them.

I would have preferred a couple of more chapters to explore Gary's redemption, but it is what it is!

I've always liked your portrayal of Misty and Gary. Both strong and stubborn people, but unable to stay away from another. Please keep writing about them!
