GODKINGASH chapter 11 . 10/9 This is writing |
GODKINGASH chapter 4 . 10/9 “Train tour body train your mind” PEAK FICTION |
zugrian chapter 6 . 10/6 No, just no. I've played D&D since 2E and there's no reason a critical fail should immediately kill a player unless the DM is just being an asshole. A critical fail is more likely to lead to dropping the weapon rather than somehow cutting the player's own head off. |
Mercutio chapter 31 . 8/16 Woohoo! Great stuff! I love all the background on D&D and related RPGs! It really is an addiction. When I was a kid, we ran imaginary D&D campaigns, no dice, no character sheets, just the imagination of the DM pitted against the players. It was loads of fun. Speaking as a player, mind. Probably drove the DM half-mad. I enjoy your Harry. Very sensible, completely ruthless. I'm imagining that his magic twisted itself through training and repetition to draw power differently than the British magicals and by now Harry a) doesn't know the difference and b) wouldn't care to put in the work to change even if he did. Regardless of Harry not thinking of Fay and Neville as friends, I would like to assure him that most people would consider anyone willing to cover up mayhem without asking questions are either running a scam or indeed friends and that no one runs a scam this long term while high without giving themselves away. Also cannabis has detrimental effects on developing brains. Perhaps wizards are different, but Neville and Fay may be in for some Consequences. I'm guessing Harry has no idea - you don't burn assets like that if you intend to keep using them. Anyway, great stuff, loved it, look forward to reading the next book. Your end notes are often as entertaining as the text. |
EvelynnSylph chapter 26 . 8/12 Afrikaans? Okay, I did not expect that, always takes me off guard when it's mentioned anywhere. Cool, though |
EvelynnSylph chapter 5 . 8/10 I have a feeling the pendant is enchanted. Didn't they ask what enchantments are on it? |
mrneb chapter 6 . 6/25 You have a unique and interesting viewpoint in this story. I really like it! I do dislike the idea that galleons can be melted down and sold for their mineral value. It would be in the best interest of wizarding England to keep their currency circulating within their own economy and not be removed into the regular world. My opinion is that they would bespell their currency to be either impossible to destroy or impossible to circulate outside of the wizarding world. That’s just my personal opinion though. |
CMVreud chapter 30 . 5/22 Does that mean Harry has a girlfriend? |
CMVreud chapter 25 . 5/22 Oh, my, gods! With Dunbar claiming the Troll slaying and Harry deflecting... And she and Neville floating like Marley... Please tell me this gonna be the equivalent of Cheech and Chong meet the Scoobies. |
CMVreud chapter 24 . 5/22 Oooooh, Harry lets his inner Hufflepuff run rampart. |
CMVreud chapter 22 . 5/22 Ha! I think this is the first fic I read where the Dursleys just up and leve without further propting. |
CMVreud chapter 27 . 5/22 Oh, yes! Teaching a dragon hermetic magic that it can use without any of the drawbacks its inventor/rediscoverer experienced. Absolutely brilliant. I see absolutely no problem in the future of the human race, sir. |
CMVreud chapter 18 . 5/22 '...almost like his magic was sealed away.'' Oh, holy fekkin no. Chummer, don't tell me th' little bugger fragged himself with that tattoo. |
CMVreud chapter 19 . 5/22 I knew it. There's always a big fat shit when working with runes. |
CMVreud chapter 1 . 5/19 I think I very much like your Harry fucking Potter. Plese tell me youll use a L. Jackson interpretin when meeting either Ron or Draco, because I wonder if they speak 'what' at Malfoy Manor. |
