PTSD and Anxiety can be horrible things, so many think it isn't that big of a deal, but unless you yourself experience it you have no idea how much it hurts.

I feel sorry for Robin but in the end he knew what he was signing up for and he will evetually succeed his father. It's not even the war yet and he's going to have to get over this fast, he'll be in charge of armies and not just the Shepards, whether it's by the his own hand or through his tactics people will die, but refusing to make that choice will cost him his home, his only fsmily and his friends.

I dint know how close we are to the war, something tells me it's a little ways off but if it's sooner than thought then Robin will have to grow up faster than he thought.

It's a real pity that Robin didn't have any parental figures like that during the actual story. RIP

The first mission is completed, it's a bitter sweet victory to say the least.

First Robin failed as a Tactition because they were caught off guard (to be fair the were cornered almost immediately so when could they prepare) leading to Chrom getting kidnapped. Now the completed the mission, rescued Chrom and retrieved Falchion. But Robin's first kill was less than pleasent.

I don't think Grima took control, I think it was a combination of adrenalin and primal instinct, if this was Grima this could've been way more brutal and Grima wouldve demonstrated it to the point where Chrom and Frederick would be disturbed. I think Robin just lost himself to the power and was more concerned for his safety than morality at this point.

Regardless now Robin has a hatred for killing, but the thing is Chrom was right and Robin should've known that this was something he might have to do. He can't be Raven's successor if he is to scared to step onto the battlefield. Nobody is ready to kill. Whether it's for the right reason or the wrong reason, nobody is ready to cross that line.

I kinda feel that's a good lesson Raven could teach Robin...

"When you step onto the battlefield you must be prepared to take life, showing mercy is commendable but there are those like the bandits that will not show mercy, they lack the humanity you have Robin. If it wasn't him it would've been you and you would've left behind me, Chrom and Lissa, you and Chrom are practically brothers in all but blood, both of them would've been devastated if they lost you and you know that. And if it wasn't you it would've been someone else if the leader escaped. If you wish to be my successor, you need to accept the fact you might need to take life to protect yours or the lives you care about. Whether it's a blade in your hand or your skills as a Tactition, you will take life one way or another."

I think we can all agree though that Emmeryn and Raven will most likely have a chat about this, Robin and Raven might have a chat too cause there is little doubt that Chrom and more likely Frederick will report this.

I think it's safe to say the Shepards haven't been formed yet and we do know that Robin is 15, probably a year or 2 older than Lissa, leaving her at 13 so I can assume Vaike must be around 15 while Miriel must be 17, Frederick I'm not sure. If I had to guess we are probably one or 2 years before Awakening truly starts.

I look forward to the next chapter, keep up the excellent work, you deserve a lot of attention for this.

I'm gong to assume that the Shepards haven't officially formed just yet, I'm not sure what to make if this new timeline, don't get me wrong it's amazing but I can't help but wonder how Awakening starts off, heck I think we are at a point where Chrom mightve not even met Cordelia and Sumia yet, not sure about Stahl, Maribelle and Kallem though. Again, assuming this is the Southtown mission but I could be wrong. Even if I am I like seeing these characters being portrayed differently like this, I've never seen Miriel and Vaike behave like this before.

I do wonder why Frederick dosent like Robin though, Chrom and Robin grew up together, Frederick the Wary earned that title but don't you think after 8 years he would trust Robin? Is it racism regarding any and all Plegian's? If so that would expliam the slight resentment and that is something that isn't really explored. In other Awakening stories it is rightful suspicion given the circumstances but after 8 years and him and Robin still don't get along, I can't help but feel that Robin being Plegian is the main reason of his distaste.

You could've picked on Frederick though, you missed out on a great oppurtunity to have Lissa flirt with Robin and him being all flustered yet appreciative. If there is anything Frederick would hate then it is seeing Lissa and Robin together like that and I think it would be funny if Lissa did it to intentionally get on Freddy's nerves anot just because of a crush but that would've played a part certainly.

And now we have Grima's voice appearing but his behavior seems...mellow? I mean, how can he be so chilled about the thing that sealed him in the first place? It almost seems like he never seen the weapon before or maybe he forgotten what it looked like or the power in emanates? Not to mention he didn't seem evil or malicious towards Robin either, kinda felt mischievious.

I'll admit that Robin handled that well...,a little to well, you'd think that he would tell the voice to leave him alone or pray that it's just an overactive imagination. I mysterious voice talking to him in his head, not to self, tell his father ASAP.

But still, it feels like Grima might be...different this time, I don't know but something like Grima wouldn't talk like that or be as chill as he was. Guess we have to wait and see.

Very impressive way to start of the Awakening plot line, assuming this is the start of Awakeming ignoring the fact that Robin isn't found in a feild, also clever way of referring that when they were kids.

Another thing is that I've always wondered why nobody bothered to give Robin and Ylissean cloack that identical to his normal cloak just with different symbols and color's, I've tried given this idea, some use it other didn't but you flat out embraced it, well done. Not sure if the Shepards are around though, no mention of them yet.

Even more so is that Robin and the Awakening crew seem to be younger a little bit which is something that is extremely rare. Using my guesstimation skills, I would say Robin is the same age as Lissa give or take a few months apart, 15, maybe 14.

I like the idea of Robin and Lissa being childhood sweethearts that grew up together, that has never been done before so if you chose Lissa as Robin's girl than that angle is 100% original.

I think it's pretty clever as well that Validar's new name is Raven, good name choice.

Very original concept, I dont think I've ever seen a story where Validar was the good guy in this and amnesia dosent seem to be in play here, I'm going to fsvorite this and see where is go's.

I do have just 2 concerns and first I that...well, you only just started updating again and original stories like this are common, so that's a bit of s concern.

The second thing is an overused pair, I sometime get hear for this but and overused pair can damage a original story instead of strengthening It and Fire Emblem today out's heavy focus on characters relationship and friendships, its high to annoying seeing the same pairings over snd over again whole unique ships are ignored.

I mean I know why these pairings are popular and therefore overused but overkilling is pricessly what killed the ships in the first place, Chrobin, RobinxCordelia and RobinxLucina thankfully has seen a drastic dip in use.

I think Lissa would be an excellent choice for Robin but I could see Maribelle, Miriel and Say'ri. Or heck, maybe we could Severa, Cynthia or Nah. I'm hoping to see an original pair for Robin in this as that would be the icing on the cake for any original story like this, I like the idea of Robin and Lissa having a childhood friendship that turns into something more.

Heck, if you want to to add more originality, maybe consider polygamy as an option, like RobinxLissaxNowi, I think that would be an excellent idea.
