angw chapter 8 . 11/19 I am really enjoying the series. It compliments and fleshes out the episodes. It's great work building and character development. Cheers! |
owtena chapter 8 . 9/20/2023 Usually I don't like crossovers between SG1 and Atlantis (can't really explain why), but yours is great balance between those two. Also Daniel in Atlantis?that's something I want to see because he is my favourite from SG1. Can't wait to read your other stories And great job as always! |
gabumon7 chapter 8 . 6/30/2021 This chapter almost made me cry with the promotion ceremony. I honestly thought in one of the earlier chapters you killed off mason and were going to pull the someone using the appearance shifter tech from the early sg1 ep as some one else with a axe to grind on Rodney |
Silverthreads chapter 8 . 6/28/2021 Excellent story! |
Aileil chapter 8 . 1/28/2020 I wish to express my appretiation of this installment in your 'Team' series. I'll admit that I hadn't been expecting much of an adventure from a post 'Siege' fic (particularly since it's called "Picking Up the Pieces"). You pleasantly surprised me by working respite for overworked characters, suspense for same characters, administrative necessities, and emotional settling into the same story in a seamless manner. You really need all of those elements to make a chapter story set right after the resolution of a three part episode of great tension and you made it work. In this story, I particularly enjoyed your SG-1 cameos. It's interesting to see them pursuing their own places in the universe (separately one from another) just at the time SGA-1 is being drawn closer together through losses and mutually formative experiences. I like the way you indicate that the past experiences don't lose value for SG-1 and that they still have a team bond even with everyone going their own separate ways. It is comforting. |
JodyMarie chapter 8 . 4/6/2019 Hello, What a great tag to the beginning of season 2. Loved the way you tied in Sg-1 as well. You did a great job with each of the characters voices. Loved the ending with Rodney pinning John's oak leaves on him. The friendship between John, Rodney and Carson was well developed. It was nice to see the friendship between Sam and John and the support for each other. Sam is very understanding about team dynamics and I appreciate the fact that you were able to demonstrate that in your story. So, yes, another favorite story to be re-read in the future. Thank you so much for sharing the story. Looking forward to the next installment. |
Guest chapter 8 . 4/4/2019 Hello Ladyshelley, thank you for your message. It seems a direct answer is not possible, so I send it as a review. I am glad to hear there is some johnwump, too, in the future ;-). Generally I like all members of the team, Ronon too (more than Ford, I have to admit). And after John Rodney is my next favourite character. I think the way, David Hewlett is acting as rodney is extraordinary (especially in "the shrine", I was very impressed there) Love, Haike |
shestarsky chapter 8 . 4/4/2019 Suitable ending, I liked the ceremony with all the nice things Jack said about Shep. Good of Evertte to leave a video. Thanks for another excellent adventure. Shelia |
Sheppardlover928 chapter 8 . 4/4/2019 Our Major now a Lt Colonel—-I can imagine this is how it went down as that episode suggested but I love your more personalized take. I love the reference about The Game—really lightened things up loved the ceremony and now...I look forward to your next story! Kudos for this excellent one! |
ElisaD263 chapter 8 . 4/4/2019 Loved reading on how John got the promotion...great version. Of course Rodney would be the one John would choose to pin on the new pins. Another excellently written and very enjoyable story! Thank you so much for sharing your stories with us. Please keep them coming! |
Sheppardlover928 chapter 7 . 4/4/2019 Glad it was just one disgruntled scientist —I thought that Dr Griffin was in on it too...glad she wasn’t! Love Carter knowing that there was more going on with John and Rodney and getting it, coz she’s been ther, dont]e that...ganother great chapter! |
Sheppardlover928 chapter 6 . 4/4/2019 Ok, it’s only his arm..no kill shot...hurry John and Carson, and Sam! |
haike.m chapter 8 . 4/4/2019 Again, a great story! I like your writing very much, your characters are very complex. I know you are more a Rodney-fan and I am more a john-fan but you write both of them so good that I love reading it and I am looking forward for the next story! Thank you for writing them! Love, Haike |
Sheppardlover928 chapter 5 . 4/4/2019 Da, da, da dum...what a twist! They cant catch a break, can they?! Hope John gets there in time to rescue Rodney—but, I already know you won’t let it be easy! Can’t wait to read the next chapter! |
Shepardlover928 chapter 4 . 4/4/2019 Excellent chapter! John calms Rodney...O’Neill calms John...now Rodney will get the rest he needs and I think John feels better since his talk with Jack too. Clever idea to have O’Neill come back—I suspect John will need his expertise to get through his debriefs with a disapproving General Landry and the other members of his review board. Loved the tenderness , reassurance and friendship you lavished this chapter with! Oh, and that damn Kolya still haunting Rodney was a perfect way to show how strung out Rodney was—-brilliant! |
